Bought used 6/2022. So far it has 31,425. Looks like new. New seal installed for the 3rd brake light and sealed the rear slider to solve the water leak problem. New tires in September. Other then that she runs like a champ and I will drive her til the wheels fall off.
Ok, so not the biggest or baddest tow but it gets me from home to the happy hunting grounds and back each fall. It also does the chores around the property.
I did a search but found nothing. My truck is a daily driver and when I get home after work (drive 65 Hwy for 35 miles) and turn it off. The truck chirps. Sounds like crickets. For the life of me I can not locate the source of the sound.
Anyone have any ideas of what it might be.
TIA
Had the dealer order one in. Took a couple of months to arrive. Sad thing is the fob was already registered to another vehicle so it could not be programmed. I am now waiting again for a new fob to come in as it is on back order
At the dealership having my new key fob programmed. Noticed a lot of classic trucks (DS) on the lot and only a few DT trucks. Guess the classics are cheaper to make and sell right now
On my 2015 2500 I would load my Polaris 500 sportsman 4wheeler into the bed of the truck using Yak ramps with no issue at all. I have also loaded my John Deere D110 also with no issue.
Well, today I removed the adhesive off the rims of my tires where the weights sat. Yes, there are wheel weights that adhere via adhesive and once those are removed you get to deal with the residue left on the rims. A liberal amount of both Goof off and elbow grease and the adhesive is gone.
I get new sneakers for Rebellious Raven this afternoon. They are BFG All Terrain TA KO2 275/60R20. Had these same tires on my last 2500 and they performed well in all the types of weather we get in Alaska.
Bought a house with a 30’ by 40’ garage. Raven fits well with my spouses Ford Escape and has enough room left over for 2 work spaces. The one thing I wish I had was 10’ doors vice 8’ but I still love it.
Installed the Carlinkit 3.0 to have wireless CarPlay. Install went smoothly and under 5 minutes. So far it waporks great. Takes about 15-30 seconds for connection but I have no issues with that.
