I have a Outdoors RV 24kts (6205 lbs empty)and use a EAZ-Lift R3 hitch. Using jack mode to set the bars for proper weight distribution is a snap. After following the recommended procedures the trailer tows smooth and no sway.
If all of this metal shaving talk is correct, it seems to me that a transmission, transfer case and read end would all wear out prematurely due to this problem. But they don't.
I ordered a set of the Ram molded splash guards and promptly sent them back. They had a poor fit to the fender and a horrible design that would collect mud and gravel . Mopar you can do better, hell a 12 year could have done a better job of designing this piece of crap.
I agree on the floor mats, these are not the Weathertech mats of old. These are made with one thing in mind, profit margin only. One other thing, the Ram Molded splash guards are very poorly made, the fit around the fender flare leaves a gap. Returned them to the dealer.
