Does anyone know why this thing is so much better than stock?? Just curious as to way this works way better than the stock sway bar. They look pretty similar to me.
I definitely plan on getting one but want to get my lift in first because I think I may need to get an extension or something...
Where you able to find anyone to help you out? If so, could you forward them on to me? I live about 3 hours north of the cities but would definitely make the drive to get this done.
When they came back with that I asked 2 questions:
1. is 870 even possible? I thought it only went up to 850? That doesn't seem right and I'm still not convinced that it wasn't correct.
2. If her credit score is 870, then why is she getting a 9% interest rate??
I responded to another post...
I agree with you. Honestly I would have made a much bigger deal out of it, but 1. I knew we were going to pay it off right away so it's not a huge deal. 2. the dealer we were at was about 2.5 hours away from home and we had our newborn with us so we were kind of in a hurry (wrapped up the deal...
I didn't finance my truck, but I did finance my wife's durango to get the extra $750 off through chrysler capital. I hate debt so I save up for everything prior to purchase if I can. That's the main reason I bought a bighorn and not a higher trim. Anyways, the dealer ran a credit check on my...
That's a fair point and that's probably why they did it that way. The vast majority of the time I put my back seat up I would only put up 60%. I cant remember a time that I needed to put up both sides at the same time. But if I were Ram, I think that is a fair rationale of why they did it...
I also miss the rear seat split. Why Ram would have the split be opposite of the Fords, so the driver can only lift up one rear seat instead of 2, makes no sense to me. It seems like it will always be more inconvenient for the driver. When I am going on a hunting trip or camping trip, I put...
I previously had a 2014 FX4 Lariat 3.5 ecoboost that was pretty much decked out with everything except a sun roof. About 4 months ago I purchased a 2021 Bighorn night edition etorque.
-Biggest thing I miss by far is the exterior keypad. I am still not used to actually having to take the key...
Are you using spacers at all? I have the same rims I believe and they are a +19 offset. I didn't think fitting 35's in with a 2 inch lift was possible with that offset, so if that is true, that's awesome news!
Is the red ring around the start button housing included in the button that you purchased? I ahve seen plenty of red start buttons and they are easy to find online, but I have never seen one with a red outer ring. Looks awesome!
they look great! I plan on doing the same thing soon. My local shop's price is 1800 installed and they are not very local. It looks like there are only 2 installers in the north half of MN which sucks, but worth it. What color combo is that? It looks like I have the same interior as you...
I am interested in doing this to my bighorn. Or paying for someone to do it for me. I live in Northern MN. This looks pretty involved for my level of expertise, or lack of expertise.
Does anyone have a ballpark of what this costs?
I still have this issue, I think the pedal may be grinding in mine when it is shifting into another gear. It happens so infrequently that I cant pay attention to it, so idk. Because it is so sporadic, I think calling the dealer is kind of a waste of time, but now that I know someone else is...
Everything you mentioned about the ride quality makes sense to me. I had a rough country 3.5 inch lift on a Sierra a few years ago and the ride quality went out the window as soon as I put it in. It really didn't bother me at all and it looked really good. That lift sucked performance wise...
Mountain Whiskey (Sweet name by the way),
The stock wheel and steering knuckle thing is great to know. I wouldnt have thought of that. I haven't gotten my lift yet or new tires. I live up in northern minnesota so the the winters get pretty bad. My plan is to get the lift installed this...
I have a 2021 Bighorn Night Edition with the 5.7 etorque motor. I have about 4K miles on it and have had it for a little less than 2 months.
I have noticed a grinding in the gas pedal at random times. It is very quick and short and it seems to be very random, I dont think I could replicate...
rubrduk,
Thank you for your post. You have calmed most of my fears with wheel spacers. I have had a cheap lift on one of my old trucks and components failed very regularly. I want to make sure to do this one correctly, so I dont plan on skimping on the lift or anything else, such as...
Do you know much about wheel spacers. The little I have heard about them is mostly negative. Don't they wear down other components very quickly? I have also heard the further you go out, the worse it is. Is 2 inches too much for a spacer?
