There is no way it's a loose sway bar link my man, not when it only happens at highway speeds consistently. It's at the dealership now and the service advisor said he talked with a mechanic who did say he has heard/seen the issue. So that's good news that I probably won't get the runaround. Bad...
@RamCares - Does the steering rack, assuming it is the culprit and to be replaced, fall under the factory warranty period? My truck is a 2019 with 32,000 miles on it, so it should be within factory warranty.
This makes total sense. It seems like the variable ratio is on the frits and gets confused at speed. Would this still be a potential rack replacement? Is there some sensor or anything that might be the problem?
UPDATE June 8th: My truck is FIXED and my dealership paid 40% and then RAM paid an additional 50%! What was $4,200 was ended up only $500. I basically only paid a deductible. I'm very, very happy with the service and the resolution from both D*ck Hannah (the profanity nannies filter out the poor...
My 2019 Limited has a CD player there, no cubby. So it appears to be that they removed the option for a CD player and made the void into a cubby instead of blanking it out.
I only hand wash my vehicles. Drive-thru car washes are the devil unless they are high end machines that use silicon brushes or are touchless. Stay the heck away from the ones that use fabric based brushes. I have seen clear coat destroyed many times by those.
Though I don't have a predisposition to FCA vehicles, it did help that I had 4 different SRT models: WK1 SRT8 Jeep, WK2 SRT Jeep, 300 SRT8 and a TrackHawk. I had zero issues with any of them, so I knew that the brand came a long way in quality and the Hemi motors are pretty bulletproof. Yes, I...
Thank you for that! I didn't realize there was a TSB for the amp! I have only found where people are like "just update your Uconnect software." I'm betting this is the problem right here. I wonder how I can verify if this TSB was done or not, any ideas bud?
That's what I was expecting too! The HK in my wife's Audi is amazing so I was really surprised that the HK in my RAM isn't as good. It's really odd that I get no bass and other people do. Other than the lack of bass, though, the system is solid.
I keep hearing that but some of us also report that there is NO BASS. I have updated Uconnect and gone through all the settings and my bass is turned up to the max and I still barely hear anything. Many others have reported the same thing while some people are report that theirs is TOO much...
Agree and agree with the last two posts because I didn't feel like going through 7 pages: the HK systems is pretty darn good for mid and highs, but the "subwoofer" (if we can call it that) is an absolute hunk of ****; abomination; terrible; worst thing I have ever had in the dozens of cars I...
I chose a RAM almost solely on the interior. It was leaps and bounds better than the competition from 2019-2021, and the rest of the manufacturers finally caught on that we like comfort and tech in our trucks. I also think the RAM is the best-looking full size truck with way more customization...
Everyone seems to forget about proper pinion angle when they lower. With trucks that have leaf springs, you simply put in a shim. But with these rear coil spring setups, you have to get the IHC relocation brackets or adjustable 4-link bars that will tilt the differential to the correct angle to...
Why, might I ask, do you do it that way instead of just an intelligent battery tender/trickle charger that connects directly to the battery terminals? Just easier this way so you don't have to pop the hood, I assume?
