Maybe, but it wouldn't matter if they were mounted on the inside or outside of the bar, the physics are the same - a sway bar is just a lever. When one side of the truck goes up it pushes the other side down to keep the vehicle flatter in corners. The bigger (or stiffer) the sway bar, the more...
"Fine" is very subjective. There just wasn't as much research and care put into creature comforts like cleaner air coming through the vents. No one cared or even thought of it decades ago, including the consumer. It wasn't something anyone thought they needed until they did it and a lot of us...
I just replaced my cabin air filter today. The original was still in it at 32,000 miles and it was FILTHY. Debris fell out of the damn filter as I was pulling it out.
Yes, typically they are money makers, just like every kind of insurance there is, including homeowner's insurance, car insurance, etc. They all make money on it, but the point is that it also works in your favor if you do happen to need it. Comparing it to a lottery ticket is also "no...
Case in point: I got an extended warranty on my CPO RAM from the dealership I bought it from. I didn't read the fine print of it requiring me to bring it to their dealerships only if I am within 40 miles of one. Their service calendar is booked solid for almost 2 months before you can even get...
FIRST PAGE UPDATED! My dealership and RAM went to bat, and they hit a homerun!!!!!! I have my truck back and 90% of it was covered between the two places!!!!!
Thanks @Sportznut - I have found some of those myself and yep, dealership diagnosed as a complete steering rack failure. This needs to be a RECALL not a TSB. This is absurdly unsafe, and people need to be reporting it to NHTSA.
Lucky! The chrome bumpers present a huge problem for me, lol. I think the cost of sandblasting and painting the bumpers might price me out of caring enough to remove/blackout all of the chrome. Might even just be best to leave it as is and upgrade my truck to a Night Edition, whenever the market...
I will also be blacking out all of my chrome. I found a thread with all the part numbers for the window trim pieces, there are emblems on eBay, etc. But what did you do for the bumpers? Did you have them sandblasted then painted?
Same here. The USB inside the console lid does NOT work for CarPlay. Only the two in the front will work. Kind of dumb to even have one in the console if it doesn't provide playback...
The Falkens would 100% be my second choice, maybe even first over the K02. My brother has them on his Titan and they have been amazing as well in wet, dry and snow.
Not sure what you're reading, but I don't think it's fully correct, or it might be relative to how much water is actually on the roadway. I can tell you that up here in WA State where it rains 9 months out of the year essentially non-stop, K02's are the best-selling truck tire there is, hands...
Thanks man. I suspected as much because nothing changed between 19-22 body panel wise on the trucks, so I found it odd, but your explanation makes total sense.
Interestingly, when I go to the Mopar store (American instead of your Canadian links), the part numbers come up as 2020-2022 and says it does NOT fit my 2019, which I find extremely odd. Here's that backordered one but says it doesn't fit 2019. Anyone have any idea why it would be different...
Hi Rob / @RamCares
The dealership did say I'm out of factory warranty on my 2019. However, they also diagnosed and confirmed that the issue is the steering rack that needs to be replaced and quoted me $4,200. This steering rack issue seems to be more common than it should be as they are also on...
Though my steering issues are different that most in this thread, it's definitely a common theme on these trucks. Mine is at the dealership now getting diagnosed for the steering wheel "sticking" to the left at higher speeds. Sigh.
