Finally!!! I just picked up my truck today and is it everything I wanted. I am hoping to get some good pictures this weekend to post, but here is all I have for now after picking it up this afternoon. 4" BDS Suspension lift with Fox 2.0 shocks in the rear, factory shocks in the front. Will...
I'd take that mistake too! No wonder it looks so sweet. The owners son at the shop doing my work has a 2020 Denali that has the 6" BDS kit in it and also has the rear braces from the frame to the rear axle. It looks pretty sweet.
Love that look!! I am getting mine installed in 2 days! Drop it off Monday morning at 8am and pick it up Tuesday. Can't wait! I am going with the Fuel Beast rims and the Nitto Ridge Grappler tires. Your truck looks great!
Well, after all my speaker upgrades, I had a loss of sound issue in my left doors. I thought it may be an amp issue, but after I pulled my panels off, I discovered that 1 terminal on each of the 2 CDT Speakers must have vibrated off. Must be all that great bass and thumpin' sound I had. Wish...
Well,
after some trouble shooting, I found my issues. Yes, 2 issues. First, the reason that I had no sound in my 2 left side speakers was because one of the spade connectors on each speaker must have vibrated off, great bass I guess, and thus no sound on the left side. I will be soldering the...
Bump...
I was wondering if anyone else has had the issue of loosing sound in a particular side of you Alpine system. I have upgraded Kicker speakers in the dash & headliners with CDT's in my doors and my system was rocking! Now, all of a sudden, I do not have ANY sound in my left drivers and...
FINALLY!! I just got the call that my 4" BDS Lift Kit is in! I am on the schedule for installation on Monday 9/28. Should be ready to ride Tuesday afternoon 9/29. Can't wait, especially after seeing all these new posts and pictures!
Here is a picture that i got from the Custom Offsets gallery of the wheel & tire combo. I have seen the wheels in person at the place doing my lift and they look great. I am hoping that my lift is in next week so I can drop the truck off next Sunday to get it back on Tuesday. Getting closer I...
Well, my update is not the news I wanted today. Talked to BDS and they are still about 2 weeks away from my lift arriving since they are waiting on 1 part. Then I have to schedule it to be installed. So, I am hoping that my install will be finished in like 3 weeks, which will be 6 weeks plus...
Any update? I am still waiting on my 4" BDS kit to arrive. I am hoping that it is in by next week so I can get it installed a week from Monday! Would love to hear how your Fox coil overs worked out.
Thanks for the side profile looking down the side of the truck. I take it those are factory wheels, 20x9 and 35x12.50 tires. I hope that is pretty close to what my 20x10 with 35x11.50 setup will look like. Maybe even a little less width because of the -18mm offset. Looks sweet.
That looks nice. I was going to use those same rims with my 35x11.50 Nitto Ridge Grapplers, but have decided on the Fuel Beast 20x10, -18 offset for my wheels. My width will be very similar to yours, just a touch more wider. Don't want the 12.50 width over an inch outside my wheel wells...
I am in Syracuse. I have ridden in 2 Ram 1500's that have the 6" BDS kit in them and they feel exactly like mine without any lift, except they are taller. I was shocked at how nice the ride was compared to lifts I have ridden in before. But the BDS concept makes great sense. They are...
PorBoy is the only one I am aware of that has the 4" BDS kit and has Fox shocks in the front. He used the ones from the Mopar kit is had installed first. The Fox rep said that was a better choice than the Fox coilovers. The Fox guy also said that the spring and the preload adjuster is a 2 to...
The Fox 2.0 coilovers are for 0-2" lift. I was told that they come preloaded for 2" and that i would have to back out the nut 1" to eliminate the 2" preload lift since the BDS suspension lift comes with a 4" spacer that goes on top of the strut. The fox tech guy told me that the coilovers...
