Do you have a tazer or did you find a dealership that was willing to do that for you? Out of all of the threads I've seen most can't find a dealership that will do the swap.
Also, how much do you have into the swap? Just the tank, filler neck, and new sending unit? Or is there more to it...

Subscribed. I bought my truck from my parents, mom hit a pole and my brackets are also pushed in. I'm not sure if there's a way to adjust them or if they need replacing, but hoping for some better info on here

So, after the first start of the day (or after it sits for a while) when shifting from park to anything else, makes a pretty loud clunk. I'm not parked on a hill or anything, and it happens if I shift quickly after starting, and also when it sits idling for a few minutes... can't seem to get it...
The most cost effective solution would be to find a wrecked truck and buy the pigs (or pumpkins, or center sections, etc) makes the swap much easier and cost effective. If you have 4wd you would definitely need to do the front and rear axle otherwise you wouldn't be able to run it in 4wd...
I imagine it's fairly labor intensive, both front and rear will have to be done as mentioned, but to replace a gear set you have to pull the brakes all apart in order to move the axle shafts, then replace the gears, testing and adjusting shims so that it meshes properly, then reinstall them. If...
