I'd be ok if you started your own thread on your truck. Details on the cap, tent and interior stuff. Looks like a nice setup to me!

There's a 50 dollar part you can buy and install that is supposed to be Rams cure for that problem. Don't have a link anymore but I'm sure some googling will help, or someone gere will chime in

Good for you for being able to retire that early! I hope I could but doubt it'll happen. My last resort is working til 60 but you definitely won't see me after then!
Good luck with the move, and congrats!

Hell, if you really wanted to save some money, just leave it alone and drive it. Assuming the doors open without problems, no problems with the radiator etc. I wouldn't mind driving that truck the way it sits. Maybe jump on the hood first but....

Is there a way to wire these things to just work without hooking to factory stuff? Bring in a positive line, and maybe use an arduino or some other small computer to control the "digital" switches?
I cant recall if this was discussed before, been following this a long time and my memory sucks...
Is that vented grill cover supposed to be for another oil cooler or something? Or maybe the eco diesel for better cooling?

Interesting. I have a slight coolant smell also on my v-6 ram, good to know there's an easy fix! Thanks for the post!

I do notice that when I forget to put it in park before turning the truck off, it goes to acc instead of off. Maybe that's what's going on?

Haha, mustve just gotten a carwash or something. But yeah, rough winter on the truck, the interior is getting a good scrub down once the new mats come in

In case anyone is wondering, since my weather tech mats were curling up so bad, I contacted them with pictures about it, and they are sending me their new mats that are rubber for free. The only downside is the mat I have is a full mat, and they're sending just the 2 footwell mats as warranty...
I'm trying to talk to them to see if they will warranty it since it's curled basically since day 1. I sent pics but no response back yet in almost a week

I did see that a guy tapped into the 3rd brake light bed light wire to send power to the other bed lights. Worked out good since those lights come on automatically when you open your tailgate, which in turn gives you power
