Is there a way to wire these things to just work without hooking to factory stuff? Bring in a positive line, and maybe use an arduino or some other small computer to control the "digital" switches? I cant recall if this was discussed before, been following this a long time and my memory sucks...

In case anyone is wondering, since my weather tech mats were curling up so bad, I contacted them with pictures about it, and they are sending me their new mats that are rubber for free. The only downside is the mat I have is a full mat, and they're sending just the 2 footwell mats as warranty...

I did see that a guy tapped into the 3rd brake light bed light wire to send power to the other bed lights. Worked out good since those lights come on automatically when you open your tailgate, which in turn gives you power Sent from my SM-G991U1 using Tapatalk
