I don’t think so. People looking to upgrade their tail gates to the multi function ones were told you needed a new box because of the way the connections work on the MFT. I’m guessing there would be similar issues trying to ditch the MFT but maybe not

Yeh I had this issue for the first month or so that I had my truck. Seemed to fix itself, hasn’t happened the last 5 months or so.

I really like the outside look of the Chevy and GMC. I’ve never been a big fan of the interior. I recently drove a Chevy a couple thousand KMs for work and man was I ever happy to get back into my RAM.

I have it on my 2020 Limited and I like it but I would’ve been okay without it. I have about 5000 miles on it so far and the system works very well, but I’m not seeing too much in the way of better gas mileage. I use to have a 2016 Longhorn and my gas mileage around town is pretty similar so far.
