I don't believe that is true (but I could be wrong). I think the new system in the 25's reads the signs with one of the front camera systems.
My 24' used map data and was slow to change and sometimes never changed depending on where I was. My 25' changes right when I approach a sign, and if I...
That's why I was suggesting an inflatable item if you have one.
Years ago when my wife bought an Explorer ST, Ford flew us out to the Ford Performance racing school. In that school, they basically let you beat the crap out of the vehicles and ran you through all the features in the vehicle. For...
I will say my 19' was VERY sensitive. It would slam the brakes on backing out of a driveway that wasn't even that steep. My 24' was WAY less sensitive, but still worked if you were about to back into something. On my 25', I haven't had it long enough to be in a situation to have it activate, but...
Seems to be pretty hard to come by at the moment. When I was searching for a Tungsten a few weeks ago, there were only 3 available in SD, ND, IA, MN, WI, and IL. I got lucky and the one in SD was about how I would have ordered it, so I drove out and picked it up!
And just to reiterate from a previous post of mine, this is NOT just a 2025 issue, my 2024 had it happen multiple times. (I have not had it happen yet with my 2025)
Update from my post #12.
Drove the truck today for 200 miles at 72 mph and got 20.6! Much better than the 15.6 I got on the way home from the dealer, AND it was 40* today and we possibly could be on winter fuel here in MN?
Did some towing this afternoon as well. 20' enclosed trailer, 8' wide...
I will add my small sample size comparison. I just drove 4-1/2 hours to pick up a new Tungsten, so same miles out and back, same road. All the driving below was between 75-85 except an occasional work zone. Total miles, 320.
2024 Limited Hemi 5.7 eTorque, 3.92 - 16.5 mpg (13,000 on the truck)...
I was in the same boat. I was looking at a Limited night edition and loved the way it looked. Then got to thinking, for not much more, I could be into a Tungsten.
I then went and drove a Tungsten. The interior and Klipsch system made me forget about the night edition! Lol
Sorry, I guess I should have added in my original post, there aren't any rears available "with OE fender flair". There are front and rear available W/O OE fender flair for the 25's.
I'm not sure what the final outcome will be on this issue, I know some people have said possibly the FOB being close to a cell phone gave them problems? Could be software issue? But one thing to know is it is NOT '25 model related.
I had a new '24 that started doing this same thing with about...
Ok, this is probably a dumb question, but I have searched on here and looked at a lot of pics of peoples '25 trucks, and I don't see any mud flaps on them?
I searched WT and Husky and they only show flaps for the front of the truck and not the rear? I see RAM has some in their accessory...
If it makes you feel any better, the 21' F150 Platinum I had needed over $6k of repairs with only 48,000 miles on it....
Weird though the front went out and then the rear. I wonder if problems in the front made the issues in the rear?
I know it is not official, but when I was at the dealer last week I was told they just got word to expect the Ramcharger to be 9% over the comparable trim level gas engine.
