As soon as I saw the big screen I knew I had to have it. Never had a problem, no freezes, no glitches.
I do wish that there was a bit more intelligence built in. Like after I've turned on the heated seats I don't need that control screen to stay up until I choose something else. It can go...
Don't understand why anyone would want the shifter on the column. Those just get in the way. Modern shifting is all electronic, so shift linkage on the column would only be duplicating what a knob does, activating switches.
I think the shift knob is great. My only issue is it's a bit too...
Not close to any danger, no, but friends have been nervously watching the hills. My daughter housed a friend (and her dog and two cats) for 3 weeks when she was evacuated out of the CZU fire zone. Fortunately her home was undamaged, but the fire came very close.
In the Santa Clara valley we...
Washed it yesterday after many (guilty) weeks sitting outside, collecting ash. I was waiting for the air to clear out, which happened a week ago. Went out this morning and it was covered with ash again! But the sky looks clear!
Note to those in the ash zone on the west coast - the...
I thought the rear power sliding window was a cute novelty, but I wouldn't use it much. Wrong! Along with the front windpws, opening it really helps with moving the hot, stale air out of the cab quickly.
I had yet to try CarPlay until yesterday and it didn't work for me at first. Seemed to take a couple of minutes for the system to figure out the phone was connected, but then I saw the big CarPlay logo filling the screen and got some music playing. I have to say I'm disappointed in the...
Added the official Mopar bed-step. It does indeed go right in without any problems. Well, I did have to go to Harbor Freight to get a long (23") breaker bar to get the two existing (13/16") bolts out.
I got it from BAM. My only complaint about them was the poor manner it was packaged for...
Now that I've had mine six weeks, I know better what I might want to be different. You just can't figure this stuff out in a test drive.
That said, I think the 33gal tank should come with the Hemi, not be an option. Milage is pretty meager. Not completely unexpected, but something you don't...
Thanks. I like colorful vehicles. My old Dakota was Jade Green Metallic and I have a couple blue BMWs (2008 Montego Blue 335i, 2019 Phytonic Blue X5). Considered a Hydro Blue truck, but that would have been too many blue vehicles, plus I'd probably have to order it since they are pretty rare...
Makes sense, Dookie.
It occurred to me that this problem isn't just an inability to achieve sufficient cooling under high heat load conditions, but even under moderate conditions the A/C has to work harder than would otherwise be necessary. So it's a matter of overall (poor) efficiency, such...
My 2020 1500 Laramie replaces a 1997 Dodge Dakota SLT. The Dakota was my daily driver from 1997-2009. Had a 1993 and 1999 Caravan along the way too.
Been thinking about replacing the Dakota for years, but it only had 160k miles and I wasn't hardly driving it anymore. Still, the paint was...
The link posted here points to a solenoid valve that is the normally closed type, which surprised me. I think most of us were expecting the NO type would be specified, which seems a bit safer. Were it to fail it would fail to the default state.
There is a NO equivalent valve, though it's $20...
