I’d opt for the high DB method, have been thinking of adding this protection to my tailgate and or the 3rd panel on the tonneau as well. Any attention pointing to the fact would be helpful.
Re: looking at mpg - I’ve only had this one since November and I’m checking how things change as spring moves in (less idle time). I fully understand the sentiment, though.

I will say that keeping the steering wheel how I do (very bottom) it’s always been hard to see speeds because it’s in...
A dagger, I tells ya
Neighbour down the street: you took the decals off of your truck, how come?
Me: because this is a 19 that I traded for my 14 and haven’t done them yet (inside voice - this thing was twice the price, ffs 😁)
I’ve been looking for it the last few times, so far only eco is lit, I was wondering about that being part of the issue. Perhaps a combo of both features 🤷🏻♂️
Have had this issue but it could be related to how the truck handles traction on a snow-packed road. I’ve never stalled but many times I thought it had, this happens after a right turn from a stop sign with traffic coming - not cool. The truck seems to bog pretty hard to the point that I wonder...
I was quoted around 750 (+/-, going by memory) or around 850 for what is used on a levelled truck. The owner of the shop had just done his that way and so I figured to give it a shot. Can’t say for certain on durability because I traded that truck in recently, but I get the logic. Price is in...
Lots of ifs to deal with on fairly new trucks, it’s very frustrating. Did you buy it used? One would think that at 2 years in most things should be covered.
Wouldn’t you want different CVs with a level, though? When the boots went on my 14 I replaced the axles with some that are meant for a levelled truck because it cuts the angle out and should last longer.
Likely more stressful in LA (assuming it’s fairly busy) as opposed to nighttime in Winnipeg 😁
-if my truck was levelled even a little bit there’s no way it would make it unscathed
It was a bit weak compared to the Alpine system in my 14 but I got used to it. I listen to very extreme metal (mostly) and the system cuts out after a bit, that’s my only complaint
10 years? We’ll all be buying boxes of electricity by then, it’ll come in packaging similar to that of Beats headphones. See you at the kiosk in the non-mall.
Could be something to do with how the brakes work on these trucks. I’ve noticed lately when sitting at a red light with the brakes applied my truck starts to creep up on its own and I have to add more pressure. Also the hill thing as mentioned, it’s super loud on a bit of a grade.
This is more about something I was going to do.
Just prior to the R / U conflict I was thinking of (and I have no idea why) taking the badging off of the sides of the truck and rearranging them to say WAR. I guess I figured it would look kinda neat on a gnarly blacked-out truck.
Life’s funny...
Wasn’t in a rush and so I took the time to drive all of them over the span of a year or so. My friend had a 12 sport and I liked the interior, I asked him about it’s durability and he was happy with it. He’d put some rims and rubber on it and I loved the appearance.
I’m 5’6 and felt that it was...
