Hello, apologies for the:
Dirty truck
Video quality
-I know that mds can cause noise in the top end, but I am assuming that it wouldn’t be too loud on the bottom end. Does this sound normal for the 5.7? I always get nervous around that high-pitch tickery.
230 per week right now, it’s drastic
I need a truck for work and electric isn’t there quite yet - or actually economical. I don’t think that the 6 with turbos will be any better, but I don’t know for sure.
I run my own design build company, haven’t pulled anything with my 19 yet but I should be buying a new trailer soon - 22’ enclosed. The 14 is gone now, was a good truck. By the way, those Little Tree air fresheners are cool and all but if you really love the smell of cedar..
That’s very true, but not sure I’d have been able to handle the span 3 designs in the amount of time to pay it off 😁 I’d be standing at the window of the 6th gen ram site with a tear in my eye
I told my sales guy that I would miss my 14, there’s nothing really bad about that design. If I had the money I’d have kept it as a work truck, but that was more than I had to spend. It was a really solid Sport, was in for service one time in 5 years - my 19 has been in around a dozen times...
5’6” here and I find it ok. The only real complaint is in the length of the seat itself isn’t ideal for someone my height (cuts circulation after a while). I do 14 hours drives fairly often and overall it’s pretty good. My 14 was the same.
My driver’s side weatherstripping was replaced under warranty (actually helped) but the passenger side apparently isn’t. I’m 100 percent sure that the passenger side was an issue a couple of months back when they did the other side, there isn’t a cliff that weatherstripping stands at waiting for...
Any chance you have a Viper alarm in your truck? My 14 had one and every so often it wouldn’t run, couldn’t unlock doors or anything. Remote start wouldn’t turn it over and the key did the same, just nothing.
I put a charger in the Davy Jones area of the console, it has a blue light on it (though too bright) when plugged in. It got me thinking, it’s dark in there and I have an outlet to use that I never use for charging anything, going to buy a little night light for it.
On average around 5-600 for shorties, I know for sure after having dealt with this issue once already that I would go that route. Funny how it works, not covered under warranty but will affect your warranty. I understand that there’s more to that than just headers, which brings up an important...
Proper header bolts, but I wonder about that. The issue, as we all know, is the 2 types of metal, maybe if the bolts are too hardcore some other issue might present itself - just a guess.
To answer the question regarding warranty, it won’t be covered later. That was the case with my 14...
Very nice setup
My next trailer is a 22’ Stealth toy hauler - but not for toys. I’ve looked at so many options and I think it’s the best way to go for tools and lodging while I travel for work. Air bnb is relatively inexpensive but I end up with nothing to show for the expense. I’m fairly sure...
Alternatively, a sticker from your friend in the life that you could put on the port. You would definitely hear that “oh sht” sound and the pitter patter of dumb feet from inside your house
