I put a Corsa exhaust on my Pontiac G8 when I had it - it was a 6.0L V8 with cylinder deactivation (AFM). Never had any issues with drone around town or on the highway. There was a slight change when the AFM kicked in, but it was hardly noticeable and not a bad sound anyway. If I were to do...
I have wireless carplay via an aftermarket radio in my current vehicle. I like having the phone mounted, especially when navigating, because navigation apps show the list of directions on the phone screen and the map on the vehicle screen. When I'm on a long drive, it's nice to see what song...
I've been using ProClip mounts since 2014 - certainly the best vehicle mounting solution there is for phones. I pair them with the wired device holders ($$$), so it's a single motion to slide in & charge.
I test drove both and I really didn't notice a difference. I ultimately decided on the 3.21 because I do a lot of highway driving for work, and even an 1-2 MPG difference will reduce my costs (and therefore maximize my reimbursements).
It's not only the suspension ball joints, but the wheel bearings that will be seeing additional load. Additional load = shorter life = $$$ for replacement. You can certainly upgrade the ball joints with more robust components, but I haven't seen upgraded wheel bearings.
If it were me, I...
@RamCares, this subwoofer problem seems to be a pretty common complaint. Is this something the vehicle team is aware of to your knowledge? @SPL1992 seems to define the problem the best on page 3 of this thread. Here's a direct link to the post...
If you don’t like it, don’t watch. You’re only giving the guy more views by linking to the video here.
As for the contracts Ferrari and Ford have had buyers of their super cars sign, that’s for brand image. How do you think Ram feels about a guy getting their truck hundreds of thousands of...
FYI for the site staff:

Nope the standard is an open diff. Marketing literature (from many car brands) frequently refers to this as an "eLSD," which just means that the vehicle is relying on the traction control system to apply differential braking. This has the effect of acting as a virtual LSD, at the expense of...
My explanation of the options from a previous thread:
Nothing aka "Open" differential: acts as a normal differential. If one wheel loses traction, it spins while the opposite wheel on the axle stays stationary. Relies on traction control system (brakes) to get out of slippery situations...
I was reading in another thread that in 2WD mode, there is an axle disconnect that is not engaged. This means the front wheels are the only front drivetrain components that are turning.
In 4WD AUTO, the disconnect is engaged, meaning that the front wheels are turning the front differential and...
