I remember when I picked up my Stingray from Criswell in Gaithersburg and drove to North Dakota where I used to live. My first stop for the night was in Ohio which helped get the 500 miles of breakin. You couldn’t use cruise control, limit top speed but I don’t remember to what. The worst was...
I hear ya. I’ll update the thread once I have some news for sure. Honestly I don’t mind paying a fair rate for shipping so long as it’s fair and they take care of my new truck. I just wouldn’t feel good if I overpaid. Either way I think we’re all saving a big chunk of cash by ordering from MD...
I agree. I’m also not willing to offer way too much. So far I’ve been following MD recommendations.
My next day off is august 23rd. I can fly from Minni to Lake Charles for $118 on United one way. Would arrive at 8 pm so need to spend a night then pick up my truck in the morning.
No dice yet after 24 hours. We’re leaving it as is through the weekend then reevaluate Monday.
There’s a fair bit of chance in it too. Like if a driver is already heading you’re direction with another 2-3 vehicles. I just wish I had the time off to go get my truck.
I financed every penny at 0% other than my deposit.
The wait on shipping is irritating. I already upped my offer last night. I don’t wanna be too impatient and get fleeced but I also am ready for my new truck haha. What to do what to do. I suppose if no one picks it up I have a couple days off...
Oh no no. It just got posted yesterday. Today I increased the offer. The truck was delivered on the 13th but it takes a week or so to PDI and then you it takes a couple of days to sort out financing and e-sign papers and all that.
Initially the said $0.8-$1.1 per mile. Now with fuel prices up it’s all over the place. I had my truck offered for a day with no movement and just increased it to just under $1 a mile. We will see.
Everything is as @ws6616 described. My truck was listed on central dispatch yesterday. MD gave me a range of prices for recent deliveries truckers made to Minnesota. I went with the recommended price they gave me. Now it’s posted and awaiting someone to pick up the job. Then they’ll let me know...
Thanks for the instructions. I did learn the expensive way as well. Didn’t really take care of the coatings on several cars I’d owned.
I do try to hand wash a lot. Wondering if my chemical guys shampoo is the right ph now. I use a separate wheel shampoo in a different bucket. The hardest thing...
When you get the call from Aaron. He’ll send you an email first telling you your truck arrived and showing you pictures. Also has the link to the credit application if you’re financing through them. Then he’ll call you to say hi and cross the Ts and dot the Is. He’ll then go over all applicable...
Try different phones/computers. It generated for me and I am using it in my deal. If fact I can’t get the pop up to leave me alone as it comes up each time I visit the homepage.
I wish. I’m almost certain I’m gonna have to have it shipped. I work night shifts from tomorrow through Sunday morning, then day shifts from Monday for 10 days straight, then flip back to nights. I’m disappointed I’m not making the trip tbh. It’s just the uncertainty of when it will be ready...
