This is why I made the air suspension a MUST have for my new truck. Had it in my last RAM and never had an issue - even in winters down to -40. Was very impressed with it. I'm sure it costs more to repair outside of warranty but it's a fairly simple system. Reliable also - all the people I...
Yes you can now keep it in aero mode as long as you like and any speed which is neat. Just flick the toggle or change the settings to disable aero mode like usual.
Glad everyone was ok!
That almost looks like it could possibly be a write off (would be around here anyways as the main cab took structure damage). Guess you never know what insurance companies will say though.
That's what I used to do when getting under my last RAM. Didn't need the FD showing up to rescue me because my gut was stuck under the truck in case it lowered.
Drove around like that also for a week but reverted back to normal after because it was a harsh ride (not much suspension since it's...
I mean like that but showing the steps a bit also. That pic is just a little passed straight down :)
They look good though all the same! Just looking for the protection bonus of a step that sticks out.
Maybe they should have made it an option instead - and make something else around the same price (wireless charging) standard instead since more people would use that.
They must have a half million old CD players sitting around unsold and figured they sneak them into the new RAMs. They could have at least hid them inside the glovebox like most other manufacturers are doing that still include a CD/DVD player. Wheel liners or even wireless charging as a...
They should be two pieces like on the rest of the bed - not sure if they glue on however. I have replaced the part on the box of my last truck and it was snapped in.
Guess I will find out next week if my replacement truck (which has the RAMbox) has this issue or not. Fingers crossed it doesn't but I'm fairly confident it will have issues (while looking at trucks online it seemed like all of the RAMbox ones had this issue).
Curious... does that plastic trim...
Agreed. The camera itself can only show a fixed field of view, so making it full screen would basically mean cropping a huge chunk off the sides - or - severely distorting the image vertically.
So to everyone with the warping RAMbox lids - if you had to order your truck again would you still go with the RAMbox?
From what I can gather it's just an appearance issue and they still remain waterproof and latch ok? (not saying that makes it any less important of an issue to resolve since...
Seats weren't wet (rear) but I didn't check the rear floor. Will check that tomorrow. No sunroof on mine (I didn't want it in case it leaked... kinda ironic).
