I can’t really say yet but as of the test run it’s a combination of both. I was hitting 22 on the dash something I’ve never done before. I have to do more runs and hand calculate it to know for sure, PC by itself has been in city+4 and was actually a little worse on the MPG though not by a lot...
Just did my RAM AIRFLOW today as well, went with a UPR CC but won’t be here tell Monday, same here still waiting for everything to back up will check it in the morning.

Upgraded to a RAM AIRFLOW, have a filter and cleaning kit for it. Used for around 13k miles. New goes for $75 for both, can be yours for $35 shipped. I’ll also clean it prior to shipping. Great filter, do the carbon delete as well is my recommendation.

Did a RAM AIRFLOW and a few weeks back I added a pedal commander. Did about a 30 mile test drive and have to say I’m pleased with it, truck responds even better and seems very smooth now, no extra noise unless you get on it. Is it worth the price? Probably not but I still don’t regret getting...
Amber and yellow are better for fog it’s science. Different wavelengths give better penetration in fog snow as it won’t scatter as much.

I ordered a ram airflow and installed a pedal commander but now I’m waiting impatiently for it. Going with a UPR catch can, thoughts? Exhaust after that.

Well said, they used a stock CAI for a reason, and the Ramair is just a better version of it, what the net is, can’t say but it’s not a net zero that’s for sure. Worth the price is up to the individual. The off-road use is needed so it can be sold in CA, as it has no secondary carbon filter...
Have owned two Tacoma’s 05 and 11, as well as a 17 ridgeline. I went to the Ridgeline to stay midsize, better mileage interior and ride quality though a much less capable truck, traded it for a 20 rebel. MPG is slightly better than my 11 taco, but the ride, power and space are so much better and...
Put in a pedal commander I bought from another member and I have to say so far I enjoy it. Big difference in response as everyone has said, have it sport +1 will play more with it but it’s pretty fun. Hide it under the carpet center stack.

That’s exactly what it is, it doesn’t have a carbon filter so it can’t be CARB compliant. This is how they get around laws to sell the part and the reason the stock CAI has a carbon filter. Has nothing to do with voiding the warranty.

I had a TRD CAI on my taco but it was CARB compliant until I popped off the carbon filter, lucky it had a CARB stamp and was hard to pull apart so when I lived in CA it wasn’t an issue, buts how I learned how much CA influences the Auot Industry with its regulations. Guess when you have one of...
Any CAI that doesn’t have a carbon filter will have a similar statement. It’s away to get around CARB compliance for CA, it’s the only reason the stock CAI has a carbon filter, so it’s legal to sell in CA. They can get around this on aftermarket parts by stating they are for off-road or racing...
