So I know some people have added a second battery, one adapted a second battery tray from a 2500.
So my idea is could the stock 1500 tray be ordered and just flipped around? At a glance it looks like it could work. Just curious what everyone thinks? Could it be that simple as far as a mounting...
Added a dual USB to the back seat for those long cross country trips. Think red would of looked better but still happy with it.

Well no, used a magnet to check for metal particles then dump it through a separatory funnel to remove the water then into a oil recycling jug I got at Walmart. The flask is just for measuring the CC mixture. I just don’t have a pic of the funnel off hand but they run around $40 but it’s not...
I’m tracking the amount every 1000 miles. I’ll turn it in to a HAZMAT site once I have enough to make the trip worth the time so it’ll be awhile.

It is a z bracket and yes it seems solid but it’s the first 1000 miles. So I cant say long term yet but so far no issues. Mishmoto is very good from what I’ve read but I do t think it’s going to be a significant difference. The one advantage to a radiator mount is the PCV hose is longer which...
So I’m doing long term tracking of the UPR CC and I’ll update it every 1000 miles. So far it’s been great, cost $130 from the UPR site and the first 1000 miles have shown 20ml collection. For reference a shot poured from a jigger is around 44ml. Amount collected will vary from truck to truck...

This is the link for the UPR CC, it’s not like yours you may have a older model.

Mine came with the offset baffle and I bought direct from UPR is was only $130. You might have an old one maybe.
This is mine. If went with this vs Mishmoto because I wanted the hoses to stay below my ram air, nothing wrong with Mishmoto mine choice was in part aesthetic. I’m going to check my...
I have a UPR and mine looks nothing like yours. I have the one with the offset baffle it’s black. My hose is dry, though I’ll check again but I pulled it off the other day both sides and the inlet side was wet but fine on the other side.
Mine looks similar to this, you can buy this part for $30...
It will likely be longer than 500 that’s pretty conservative until you get an idea of how much blow by you get. I plan in tracking mine every 1000 miles just to see how much I end up with, then I’ll post it here help people decide if it’s worth it or not. I’m retiring from the military and...
How often to empty will vary on a lot of factors checking it every 500 mile until you have a baseline is best. As far as to why they aren’t standard, car manufacturers don’t thing it’s an issue for longevity and worry about people not checking them regularly which if not checked can cause...
HEMIs get blow by of recycled crank case gases via a PCV system, this goes back into the intake manifold, this can carry oil and other contaminants that can gunk up the valves and intake manifold, this can lower octane ratings of the supplied fuel as well as decrease performance. The can cools...
To each their own but you could apply that logic to a lot of aftermarket mods. Someone started doing it people liked it and followed suit. I like the way it looks and didn’t by a Raptor because I didn’t want one but it doesn’t mean I can admire things I like about the truck or apply it to my...
This is one of the rubber feet I drilled out to make the spacer. Just drilled it out and filed just enough I could force the light into the hole. Then just squeezed the rubber into the grill hole. It’s tight, very hard to pull out, was going to add some adhesive but I really don’t think it’s...
