Thanks a lot folks. I was doing so well resisting the urge to keep upgrading a brand new Rebel, but y’all broke down my resistance and my new bar will be here Friday. Crap, now I’ve gotta buy the wife something to offset my purchase.
Stay away from Mike Brown FORD/CJD in Granbury, TX. My new RAM will never see their service department based on how they 'cared' for my last 2 Jeeps. Both had the water pump go out on the 5.7L at just over 90K miles and I took them there for warranty repair since they're ~10 miles away from me...
Anyone replaced their standard black push to start button with a red one from the SRT Jeep? With the red accents in my Rebel I think it'd look nice and coordinated, but there are so many different part numbers for that part that I'm leery of running into interoperability problems.
Yeah, now that mine is in I've actually got almost too much room. I know me and I'll end up filling the empty space with extraneous crap if I'm not careful.
Good news is I was able to consolidate several smaller first aid kits into one large trauma bag with all the space.
I like it that my OE mat covers the bin lids and makes them a bit more inconspicuous. I use one for my get home bag, and the other for a range bag, so it’s nice that a smash & grab will probably overlook them.
Disconnected my battery negative terminal earlier today for about 20 minutes while installing the Edge Pulsar unit and when I reconnected everything and started, SiriusXM no longer appears as an option under my radio input sources. I've got AM, FM, and the USB AUX inputs selectable, but SiriusXM...
The only time I've run into problems with that is the scanners at DFW airport. For some reason they are very picky and if you're using the Tolltag for airport parking, they might not see the tag on your way out and an attendant has to assist.
Anyone seen any good uses/additions for the storage tray on the top of the dash above the radio? Useful real estate, especially with 12 vdc power already supplied.
Not sure what I'd like to see there, maybe a plug&play dash cam, or maybe a small form factor CB radio. All I'm seeing right now...
Thanks, I like what I see here just from poking around a bit. Lots of good information and not a ton of spam like the other places I looked first.
cold and rainy all day today, but couldn’t resist getting a first pic of it sitting in my drive.
Taking delivery today on my silver over black 2020 Rebel with 5.7l, air suspension, lvl2, Rebel 12, and RamBox. Will post pics once I get it and have a chance to get to know it.
