I wouldn't get 4x4 if I didn't need it. Living in North Texas, I don't need it. But, we have a house back in Kentucky that we visit in the winter. I bought it solely for that reason. And I've used it and when you need it in treacherous conditions, it's worth every penny.
Wow, I was joking. You did post a pic of that truck with the large wheels and rubber band tires. That's what I was referring to.
Please accept my apology, I was not trying to offend you.
I assume you're comparing to Laramie Sport with Off Road Package.
Rebel doesn't have vented seats. Rebel has different transfer case so it doesn't have the 4wd Auto option. Not sure what else. Laramie has 20" wheels vs Rebel 18". 18" better for true off roading.
Get a Tradesman. Personally, I would live with what you have. Don't take the depreciation hit and just trade it in two to three years from now. I love my Laramie, it's nicer than your POS Limited with no front camera! I'M KIDDING!
I use mine when parking forward in a spot especially when near a curb. I have the shortcut on my menu so I must select the app when starting to park. The overhead view is very useful.
My only concern with those is that they only have two mount points versus three like most others. But yes as others have said, your truck looks very good.
Voters are as much to blame, well the ones in the Bay Area, Hollyweird, and SoCal. Mmm, I love me some Kalifornia Kool-Aid. But, let's not make this more political than it already is. These laws will eventually make it to other states.
Were any vehicles in front of you? Were you near an overpass? I would think a possible strike could have caused it. If the glass was hit, maybe due to pressure it appeared that it exploded in the "volcanic" manner. Either way, sucks man.
I didn't have an issue hauling my 12' kayak in my 2500 with 8' bed. But with the very short bed, I'm not sure if I should go with a roof rack, or headache rack and hitch rack or tower racks. My wife wants to join me this year so I'm going to get her a kayak, too.
So, suggestions would be good...
This is the route FCA chose to go. My wife's 2018 Pacifica has the same canned messages with Uconnect. They want you to use Android Auto or Apple Car Play.
