I had the TSB done at the dealer and no real improvement....the new cable still had slack in it so I soldered in a brass spacer in the end that attaches to the bed, filed it down until both cables had even load and done. :cool:
Hi all, I am curious on a couple questions I have and I could not find anything searching.
Question 1 regarding the SOS/Assist buttons back lighting:
If I have the headlight switch in auto and the lights come on, the backlighting for SOS/Assist come on as normal, but if the lights turn off then...
I received mine on Monday and it came with 18.0.1 and worked so I don't plan on going to 18.0.3. I only wanted to use features that don't require it be connected all the time so I removed it after I was done, I don't need a dead battery, lol
Interesting, I assumed I would also get firmware 18.0.3 but mine came with 18.0.1 and only after I realized that (displayed on dash screen) and downloading that version of instructions, I got it to marry and get to the menus. I guess it's a shot in the dark which version you get.
Yes, open diff when not locked......I went from a 2004 Silverado with an automatic rear locker to my 2020 Ram with ORG and the ride is soooo much better....through this winter I haven't missed the auto locker as the 4-auto has done the job....for winter duty I did change out the 20's for 18's...
Well I guess this is a good a place as any for my first post.....Hi all, picked up my 2020 last month, tested this issue out and it did not start with the fob about 15 ft away.
