I had a no name cheap catch can off of ebay on for about 500 miles and it looked to be catching ~50% of the oil. I threw that in the trash and put on a mishimoto. 1000 miles since and there is zero oil in the intake hose, plus it is way easier to screw/unscrew to empty.
Any way you can get the fogs to stay on with the high beams? Basically fogs on all the time, controlled only with their specific fog light switch? I remember being able to do that on some older vehicles with a jumper in the fuse box, probably not a thing on these newer trucks I suppose...
This might be a stupid question, why doesn't MDS kick on while the truck is parked and idling? It would seem that with no load on the engine, 4 cylinders would be fine for idling in Park...
I thought the same thing, the noise on mine was not them hitting the windows but the motors hitting the final "stop" inside the mirror. There is 1/8-1/4" between mine and the window.
