Always run triple peak rated tires and never had a problem. I have the North Edition.
Of course, when it is really bad, I take my lifted Jeep JK and go do donuts. After market metal bumpers and a vehicle that weighs a lot less and is much smaller makes for a hell of a lot of fun.
My Ram is...
So, in my mind, the drone is an annoying sounds that resonates in my head. When I first had the exhaust installed, there was a leak where the clamp attaches. It got into my head and I found it very annoying. Once the leak was fixed, the in cab sound was more of a rumble, which I find much more...
Went with the MF and love it. Actually sounds louder than the videos demonstrate. No drone, but loud enough in the cab that I turn the radio up when I don't want to hear it. Though I like hearing it.
Ladies and trucks?
Where are we all?
I'm in CT and an on my 4th Ram and first 5th gen. Been modding it since I bought it. Have the North Edition granite crystal Hemi crew cab.
RC steps, Backrack, Magnaflow exhaust, Sendel wheels -12 offset, 275 65 r17 Falken Wildpeak...next is a lift.
Loving...
Check out Tuff Truck 1210 (25% load increase), 1211 (50% increase) or 1223V depending on your load weight. If you measured while loaded, the 1210 or 1211 are stronger, so you may actually see them lift the back. If unloaded and your oem springs are not already squashed from constant weight, you...
Oh let's be real: size matters, but only when making comparisons. Lift it, lower it--put it on 37's or 30's.
Just love your ride and let others love theirs!
That being said--I can't wait to add a little lift to mine! People at work tease me for wanting to go bigger all the time (woman here...
I feel the dilemma!
I've owned Wranglers since 1992 and a truck too since 2012. The Gladiator checks both boxes, but the prices and the shorter bed have me on hold. My plan was to trade in both my '17 lifted/modded JK and my 2018 Ram 1500....then I traded in the Ram for a 2019...and started...
Not much sag with the 1211's, maybe an inch. With the stock spring, 2-3 inches. Road really nose high. And I don't like the Cali Lean look :). ATV weighs #678 dry. Should mention I had the 5 and a half foot bed. Longer bed may have distributed the weight differently. Lots of discussions on...
With the Bilsteins, I went with 2.1 up front and a 1" puck in the rear. The rear Bilstein shocks were for up to 1" puck. The springs did not lift the truck at all. Added the springs after the shocks, so the ride change I noticed was definitely the springs. Left the Bilsteins in when I pulled...
I had the tuff truck 1211 on my 4th gen to help with sag when hauling my ATV in the bed. I called them before buying and they said not to do the variable because those only stiffen up after you see about two inches of sag (truck was also leveled). Stiffened the ride some, but not too bad. Only...
Thank you all for the great information!
So...If I measure center of wheel to fender lip, but I already have larger tires on (34" Falken Wildpeaks), will that screw up the measurement so I know whether to install the spacer in the front? I have the North Edition with the 1" factory lift...
