    2022 Tundra finally unveiled

Gotta say...what is with people's obsession with Hemi's? This is my first, and I can't say i like or dislike it, it just kinda does it's job. If I was keeping it for a long time I'd probably prefer something NA like the Hemi but if you only keep them to 60 or 70K miles I'd rather have a turbo...

    2022 Tundra finally unveiled

No 4wd auto is a deal breaker, and weird that the screen is detached from the AC/seats. Wonder if it's basically just media/nav. Not bad for a toyota, since they historically have only made junk cars that seem to last a while.

    Rough country 3.5 lift!!!!Help!

the kit with lifted struts means you don't have to mess with pre-load spacers. I'd do that over a spacer or the bilsteins where you are just cranking the pre-load (same effect as a spacer) Also to answer my own comment above, UCA angles are normal once it's on the ground. Just installed the...

    Sold my 2019 Ram 1500 :( What's next??

Hemi's paired with the 3.92's only make it to 61K. Something about the extra few hundred RPM makes them explode

*OFFICIAL Rough Country 3.5 // ReadyLift 3.5 thread.

No pics but I just put the RC 3.5" struts, v2 shocks, UCAs, and Clayton 3.5" rear springs on my truck. Personally feel like the ride is better than stock. I hated the wallow-y caddilac type handling of the ram. In a straight line it was comfortable but turning felt like a boat. This is...

    Rough country 3.5 lift!!!!Help!

Anyone have pics of the UCA angles? I have the passenger side done, so one side is on stands but the UCA looks pretty steep. I have their 3.5" struts, but result should be the same with spacers.

    What to order...lift kit

Not sure what the "arm of the transfer case" is, but that whole scenario sounds like something that would not get warrantied. If you are doing that much damage, can't imagine it wasn't a mistake on the installer's behalf. Not familiar with that kit but if its a diff drop and it wasn't...

How big of lift on stock sway bar links?

https://www.core4x4.com/product/t4-d-15-2009-el2/ As in those? On this sway bar, correct? https://bendtrailers.com/hellwig-products-sway-bar-kit-7709/ I'll probably order the sway bar also, i kinda wanted to put that on after the lift so i could see if i could tell a difference with it.

How big of lift on stock sway bar links?

Anyone know? I have a 3.5" going on this week, nothing planned for the sway bar links and I don't see any kits that come with them in the 2.5 to 3.5" range.

    What to order...lift kit

lifts aren't gonna void your warranty, and it doesn't matter where you get it installed, FYI. If a dealer tells you that I'd find a new dealer since they are just fleecing you anyway.

An Engineer's Ultimate Guide To 3.21 VS 3.92 Axle Ratio

You guys know that one about talking to a wall? Anyways, glad we have the world's foremost experts on gears on this forum. Anyone want to buy a 1500? Pros: low miles. Cons: will probably self destruct at 80K miles and you'll have to fill up 2 more times per year than everyone else. I give...

An Engineer's Ultimate Guide To 3.21 VS 3.92 Axle Ratio

My point is, what's the threshold...does 400 rpms more decrease engine life, or maybe it's 800, or maybe its 1000. and how much does it decrease it by? 1%? 5%? The answer is, you don't know, and I don't either, so its just anecdotal. And come on, how many of us are really going to take...

An Engineer's Ultimate Guide To 3.21 VS 3.92 Axle Ratio

Who cares if its running 400 rpms higher? there's no proof that 400 rpm more, or 800, or whatever magic number it is will prolong engine life. And performance meaning turning bigger/heavier tires, in the mtns, and not so sluggish from dead stop. I'm not racing my truck and don't care about...

An Engineer's Ultimate Guide To 3.21 VS 3.92 Axle Ratio

The only benefit of 3.21s vs 3.92s is mpg, at the expense of performance. The reason people care about MPG is because of the associated expense, ignoring the hassle factor of stopping for fuel. My point, and the reality, is that there's not a material difference in fuel expense between the...

An Engineer's Ultimate Guide To 3.21 VS 3.92 Axle Ratio

Gonna say it depends where you live as well. In the mtns, i want 3.92s. I also plan on running heavier and larger tires than stock in a few weeks, again wanting the 3.92s. For the "save 100's a year" comment. At $3.50 a gallon and 12k miles per year, comparing 16 vs 18 mpg is a difference of...
