I agree. With just a few tweaks around town, you can really improve the MPG. I get way better mileage in the city than I do on the highway. Using non-ethanol I can get 18 to 19 on my daily commute in the city, but at highway speeds (65 to 75 MPH) it drops to 15.5.
I can't say what your particular issue is, but every time I've had a fuel gauge wandering and/or indicating a higher fuel level the more I drove, it turned out to be a fuel pump problem. They quit shortly after I got those indications from the gauge.
7,500 miles on my 2021 Rebel and no leaks of any kind.
I like reading all the posts from long time owners and multiple vehicle owners that say they've never had a Ram truck leak. My last two Fords leaked from everywhere, routinely. The third brake light, the antenna, the sliding rear window...
Tell them to keep the truck until they CAN reproduce it. I once had an issue that would intermittently happen on cold starts, and I told the dealer to keep the truck and start it every few hours until they duplicated it. I think they had it three days, but it eventually did it for them.
I have that exact step on my truck, and while I prefer the look of it, the functionality sucks. Getting in is no problem, but getting out I have to face the front of the truck, use the grab handle, and slide out sideways to get my foot on the rail. I can't turn to the side and just go like on...
From the owners manual:
ENGINE BREAK-IN RECOMMENDATIONS — GASOLINE ENGINE
A long break-in period is not required for the engine and drivetrain (transmission and axle) in your vehicle.
Drive moderately during the first 300 miles (500 km). After the initial 60 miles (100 km), speeds up to 50 or...
A challenging question indeed. I had to deploy some rarely used resources to get this one done (WolframAlpha dot com, Aqua-calc dot com, etc). One cubic foot of Nylon-66 weighs 71.16 lbs, while the same volume of pine weighs 45 lbs. The Nylon-66 would certainly add to the durability of the...
A fascinating question, and it would seem to me that while much of it is fairly straightforward, I'm left wondering what material the blocks are made of? We all know for example that larger tires are heavier, and the heavier the rotating mass, the more work must be done to move them...
Keep in mind that a larger foot size has a longer fulcrum, which means comparatively less pressure is required to move the gas pedal. This is why drivers with smaller feet get better fuel economy, it's simply harder for them to push the pedal. 8 out of 10 podiatrists agree with this statement.
Dude, how can you not get this? I know from the tone of your post that you're now getting emotional, but seriously, how can you not get this?
The mild hybrid doesn't exist for "no reason". It must deliver what it says it's going deliver...fuel savings. If it delivers more savings than the...
Show me where i said that. Quote it. I'll wait.
You are again ignoring, intentionally or unintentionally, the linkage between the promised fuel savings of the feature, and the cost to repair.
4WD and the Super Charger deliver exactly what they were designed to deliver. so there's no...
I would very much like for you to make a valid analogy, but to date, you've not been able to. :ROFLMAO:
The comment i made was not "that the etorque was one more thing that could fail", that leaves out a material aspect of my statement, which included the savings of the promised benefit of the...
I do have passive entry, and the first few times I washed the truck the lights kept flashing. :ROFLMAO: I didn't know what was going on at first. Eventually I put the keys in the the house and the truck stopped flashing the light every time the handles got wet. Last night the exterior...
Super charger is needed to get the 700 HP that is one of the main selling points of the truck, and the $90k price tag...so yes, it is entirely necessary for that purpose.
4WD, again...necessary for those who require it on their truck.
Neither the super charger, nor the 4WD make dubious...
