Did my first change last night. I was able to get both hands on the filter by laying under front bumper. One hand from front and one from back side. left and right access is non existent. My truck has org and was jacked up about 3-4 inches. The filter like others have said was darn tight...
I did the chrysler capital as well for the $500 off. I qualified for 0 perc interest and got it set up on autopay so I wont miss a payment... There are not any expenses to keeping this loan that are in the fine print that I missed. Are there?
I have a 2017 laramie with 3.6 and now a 2020 laramie with 5.7 no etorque. I would say ave mpg is 4 better on the 3.6. Pulled a 2000 lb trailer down interstate at 75 with 3.6 and it just stays in 7th most of the time but pulls it well with 14-15 mpg. V6 8 speed is different than the 5.7 8 speed...
Had a 2015 outdoorsman ed. Love the truck and at times could break 30 mpg with no wind going 55-60. Nice low rpm torque of the diesel was fun. Traded it for a hemi bc my trips to work are only 2 miles and more in town stop n go than on the road use didnt seem like a good longterm match for a diesel.
I have some wind noise also. Seems like its back seat passenger side. Much worse in a cross wind than head or tail wind. Will need to sit in the back seat while someone else is driving to locate source.
Would like to know more about the location of the weather stripping that helped/worked...
I have used fluid film and more recently crc 060206 heavy duty corrosion inhibitor. I like the crc for being just a clean waxy film for areas like rear hitch and places that show more. I use the fluid film with red straw in tip for openings in frame and door and whell wells...
I think that is pretty normal. 4wd high or low especially with e-lock if you had it would be the worst. 4wd with limited slip rear would be second worst, 4 wd auto when its a little sandy on road surface might bind or hop a little but shoudnt be bad. Guessing you havent driven many trucks with...
