I always have the truck in 'normal' setting. The only other setting I use from time to time is 'entry/exit' for when I go into parkades at work. Good to know....thanks!
Just an update for those who responded.....heard back from the dealership this morning. Truck needed a new battery. That seems a bit quick for a truck that is not yet 2 years old....thoughts?
Hello all. It has been ridiculously cold over the last few days here...it was -38 degrees Celsius and has had dips of even lower temps. Of course I haven't been driving the truck regularly due to working from home. Anyway, I have to go out of town tomorrow morning, and I got to thinking that...
I've bought my last 3 trucks online, and all of them I felt I had a good experience. The dealerships even ended up delivering them to my home for me. It's nice to be able to do all the work from the comfort of your desk or couch, and not have to deal with the BS at the dealership of waiting at...
Yeah that is partly accurate. As a used vehicle, it was not eligible for any manufacturer rebates and whatnot. While there was some negotiation, there was not a whole lot of room for it.
Sounds like you did pretty well yourself with your truck...nice work!
I bought my 2019 Limited used for $62,000 CDN (about $49,000 US) this past summer. It had about 28,000km (about 17,000 miles) when I bought it. The guy who had it before decided he wanted a truck with etorque, so I was the beneficiary of his decision. I think I got a pretty good deal on it...
Welcome to the forum! I came from a 2016 F150 Lariat with the 3.5L to my 2019 Limited 1500. I have to say I love this truck. A couple cents worth of my thoughts......if you end up going with the F150 and intend to tow anything at all, go with the 3.5L especially if you may possibly upsize...
Absolutely worth your time to sell privately. I had two buyers on my last truck get into a bidding war and I ended up getting $2000 over asking price. I took excellent care of my truck, but unfortunately it had a few claims on it as some jackwagon hit it while it was parked out in front of my...
I too was contemplating a 2500 with a Cummins at one point when we bought our holiday trailer. After humming and hawing, and going over the numbers, I saved 20k by buying the used 1500 instead of the used 2500, and have a better daily driver. The 1500 is more than capable for my needs (the...
I can't stand the exterior of those trucks, and you are right....the interior leaves something to be desired as well. I'd take the TRX any day of the week over that truck!
I went from a 2016 F150 Lariat FX4 to a 2019 Ram 1500 Limited with air ride. This is my second Ram and I can tell you the Ram does ride better than the Ford and has a better turning radius as well which helps if you live in the city. I mainly got the Limited for the air ride for towing...
Agree totally with LaxDfns15 on the weight....don't bother with the dry weight. The loaded weight is the one you need to concern yourself with. Yes, a 1500 with a 3.92/Hemi can pull 11-12,000lbs, but that doesn't mean that you should. I suspect when you get fully loaded on your trailer, your...
Every brand has their issues. I had a 2016 F150 with a long list of items: IWE's repaired 5 times (includes wheel hubs, vacuum system etc), transfer case, differential (first the bearings, then a full replacement), door latches that didn't latch when it got cold out. I did like the truck...
I have a '19 1500 Limited with 3.92's and pull our 29' TT with it. The trailer is about 7600lbs wet. It pulls it no problem, and I average around 12.5mpg. On another note, and I cannot stress this enough......do not cheap out on a good weight distribution hitch with anti-sway.....it's the...
Hey JAMFlyfisher. No I did not end up replacing them. They are pretty much brand new at this point, and I think I'll look into a different/better tire when the time comes that I need new ones. From what people have said so far, the 22" tire works just fine. Cheers.
