Gotcha, I'm gathering quotes for a build right now and all the dealerships around here only offer the rebates available at time of delivery/purchase. It's not a huge deal since the June incentives aren't great, so I assume it's only going to get better by July/August.
This is similar to what I’m getting too. I think based on what I’ve read that’s a pretty decent pre-rebate deal, and you will just have to hope that the incentives/rebates for a 2020 should be better in July/August or whenever it arrives.
If a dealer sent me a build sheet with a price that says "net/net", what the heck does that mean? I haven't gotten clarification from them whether that means TTL is included or not. I'm guessing it doesn't include TTL, because it would be a few thousand lower than any other offer I've gotten...
At least one of the dealers is including a lifetime powertrain warranty along with their offer. Is that typical and/or considered valuable? I assume it's a pretty nice thing to have, but wanted some opinions.
I'm getting bids for a factory build pre-rebate on a Laramie, so I'm thinking 10% off MSRP before TTL and rebates should be a decent goal. Obviously I hope the rebates are better in August or whenever the truck arrives!
Is the 20% off MSRP that everyone mentions as a reference point for a good deal based on the price before TTL, I assume? I just want to make sure I've got a good reference point for prices.
Officially decided I’m going to go for a 2020 factory build before the window closes. Sending specs to 20 dealerships nearby and taking the best offer hopefully before the week is over. I’ll report back. Obviously I won’t know the rebates until the sale happens in a couple months.
Thanks for the reply. I’ve currently got a 2008 Avalon that I’ve had for 10+ years, and plan on keeping this truck until it dies, so I definitely don’t want to compromise on wants. Some of my requirements, like Rambox and multifunction tailgate, are few and far between. I’m in the process of...
I’m in the same situation and weighing both options. Won’t the incentives/rebates be significantly better for 2020 models in a couple months compared to the 2021s? That’s one reason to order a 2020 now vs waiting, although predicting exact incentives is impossible.
As far as the one-year...
First post, so go easy on me. After doing a lot of research and lurking this thread, I've decided that I'm going to get a Ram. I currently have an old Avalon that's perfectly reliable, so I have time to make the right decision.
Looking at the 2020 inventory, there doesn't really appear to be...
