Does it happen in a certain spot? We live by a law enforcement training center and airport, and there are a couple of spots in my routes around them where I always drop. Phone. Satellite. Everything. Every time. Happens to others, so it's not the truck. I've resolved myself to it now.
🤷♂️
Newbie myself. There's many knowledgeable owners here. Lots of experiences in many model years and varieties of modifications.
The information found here has helped me immensely.
Welcome and enjoy your stay. See ya around.
Wow, you still hung up on that. More of a misunderstanding and eagerness to express an unsolicited opinion by someone who can't comprehend differences in context. As it sorted itself out, a term was used that as defined by some as "misinformation", but by others, a window sticker had the words...
Don't recall those noises coming from the Ecoboost in my F-150. It's been a minute, but I would think I'd remember that. Different design I guess.
I had read in other threads it was normal, but I really haven't convinced my brain that it is. Noises tend to lean towards an issue. Guess I'll...
Opinions are opinions. Your bloviating was more of an autobiography, but your inflated ego won't recognize it. As far as being fired up, that would imply your opinion means something to me. I assure you, it does not.
When you can put together some coherent sentences other than editorials...
Right. Probably left out of the factory. Dealer just took the cost off instead of installing the actuator.
I think "dealer" was being too inclusive. I get the difference between factory and dealer installed options now, and how the process works.
I was just trying to relay that the window...
While you're feeling all proud of yourself, I've seen this. It was an actuator for an electric tailgate. A negative amount on the window sticker stating dealer deleted. Why I don't know.
But go ahead. Pat yourself on the back.
Wow, internet is full of arrogant know it alls too. Nice to be...
It's the window sticker. I get it though. Dealer mainly adds things. Trim packages that might replace something happen at the factory. Did a little reading.
Appreciate the conversation.
Biggest thing is there's a lot of new stuff in this model that previous models didn't have. The first year after a redesign is plagued with "growing pains". Had that in my '07 Tundra on its 2nd Gen release. That thing was a nightmare. Bugs everywhere.
Another issue that will take some time...
The one I have is down only. Check your window sticker. They may have deleted it. Check if there is some sort of button on the left side of the tailgate. The power up models have a manual switch like SUV's.
I purchased it and installed quite easily. I didn't get a warning like that, but I also installed a double tow hitch. Something like this. I wanted the light to help backing a trailer at night. I did have to order the cable extender from DD.
Wow! I'm almost 1k miles on my '25 Rebel, but so far, issue free. You have some features I don't, so the complexity makes it difficult to help.
Software update might fix it. Also, might try the reset. You'll have to reconfigure everything, but sounds like you're doing that anyway.
There's...
Way late to the party, but all makes and models have issues on new vehicles. A small percentage to this extreme. At some point you are where you are. You just want it fixed. If you've tried multiple dealers, you need to escalate this somehow. I've read where owners reached out to corporate...
