Well yah know it is a double edged sword.
You post a topic without searching, people get on them for not searching.
You search and find something and post in that thread.... what happens?
People get on them for bumping an old topic
You really can't win.
Alright,
Finally was able to negotiate something and should hopefully sign tomorrow. Will get to drive away with something nice until my vehicle gets delivered to me.
Anyways:
MSRP $58,960
Dealer discount: $8,434(had to negotiate for more)
Aftermarket (this is negative equity):$2,164
Fee's...
I understand. I was just clearing up the fact that I was assisting someone in search of the same areas I was, where we're all looking around at comparable dealerships. Never once mentioned across the united states and Canada you should see 18% ;). But in my area, I'll be lucky.
Anyways, I think...
No one said 18% was great or bad, my "18%" I mentioned was for the previous user's question based on the vehicle they were looking for, in the region they were looking for with the dealer options they were getting. If someone is asking if 18% off of a laramie is a decent deal, then it's quite...
Those I would call incentives, not rebates. I think the terms can be used interchangeably, but those are incentives to purchase a specific trim, where as a rebate are certain things you qualify for based on certain conditions. Eg, military. That military rebates applies to any trim. It is still...
I get what you're saying, but I disagree a little bit. The purpose of working a deal is trying to get the biggest discount you can, regardless of how you get there, what incentives there are or are not, how much you feel like haggling, how much of a discount they give you right off the top.
At...
Thanks, that's what I thought. I guess they never enabled it when I test drove....
Does anyone know if the lights in floorboard/back seats are easy to replace?
Hey guys,
So, I've been looking around at some various videos on youtube for night shots and noticed a few things that I didn't notice when driving as it was during the day.
Does the Laramie trim have ambient lighting near the floorboard of both front/back? Also, I noticed another video that...
Does anyone have a rough estimate on about how much the difference is between buying off lot and order? A ballpark %?
I don't need like 4-5 options they added the truck, but really want 1 option that's missing to make this puppy have everything I want for about a $500 price difference
I just...
Buying and not leasing the ram so doesn’t matter the miles. The fees from overage miles isn’t biggest problem. It’s the total amount of miles I put on. I’ll have 58k miles in 3 years
That means I need new tires. New brakes and so on. When I return the vehicle. I’m going to have close to $4k in...
Rebel 12 is gone off the lot already. But if you find one on there, all your's man!
And yeah, some places do not negotiate on dealer options. I negotiated the bed liner off because it wasn't even installed.
I want to negotiate the GPS tracker off, but it was supposedly wired into the engine or...
The negative equity is because it’s a lease. But since I’m military and had to travel around and then had to commute about 800 miles more a week, the mile overage is what got me. It has nothing to do with "can't afford it cause of negative equity"
Hence why I’m looking to get out of it ASAP. I...
I’m going to negotiate them off still
Also, negative equity will be more the longer I wait (lease) and every mile is $$ I have to keep paying for 6 months more. It’ll be close to 4K then :(
Alright my RAM brethern. I am getting close to pulling a trigger on a truck I've been wanting, but I want your guy's opinion on this.
Here's truck: https://www.boernedodge.com/inventory/new-2019-ram-all-new-1500-laramie-rwd-crew-cab-1c6rrejt9kn705668

Not at this time. I believe the initial release of the uconnect had that capability but after an update or 3 it was removed and hopefully it allows full screen again.
