Out of 4 times I had my truck in for header leaks, 2 of those times included a cracked manifold. The last time I had it in was at non-stealership shop and he replaced the cracked header and used grade 10 bolts. It was still fine when I traded in my truck because of cam/lifter failure. I bought a...
Haven't drive anything today except take a load of garbage to the dump and to the recyclers. Using the truck as a truck. Oh and running my wife around... So using it like a taxi too.
Only thing I did today to the RAM was install stake hole tie downs. Had to trim the plastic bed cover a bit because the holes in the plastic aren't big enough for them to drop in.
Note to others, don't buy the 4v Lithium Ryobi rotary tool. It sucks. Not only would it bog down and stop when...
Yeah, I don't pick up heavy stuff, but I can hook things and drag them. What you have works as well, in fact probably works better than what I have... But it's what I got. :)
I have long handled grabbers that I leave in the back of the truck. I'm thinking about attaching a magnet to it and sticking it to the inside of the truck bed to keep it off the floor and from roaming around. I used to keep it in my RAMBox... But those are now gone. *sniff sniff*
Sorry guys, 30 pages... TLDR
I'm in BC, Canada... Is 3rd party warranty available here in Canada? I bought 5yr/200k extended powertrain warranty when I purchased the truck. Should I be doing something else?
$80US, probably... Which is probably $150CDN here. Then there is the annoyance of having to swap it. Just as easy to spent $30CDN for a steering wheel cover and not worry about it futher. :)
Actually, I have really big hands and I prefer the grip I get with a larger steering wheel. And, yes, ensuring that I get at least the life of my truck payments out of it is a good thing, in my eyes. You said it yourself "paying all this money"... yeah, exactly.
Yeah, that's why I've got a trailer harness that I'm going to patch into the truck and then tap into that harness for the bed lights with either a rocker switch or a momentary switch activated via the tailgate.
So, the heated and cooling still works with the current seat covers I have. Cheap Seat Covers
The steering wheel cover still lets heat through, mind you it takes longer and doesn't feel quite as hot... But I don't need hot, I just don't want cold. Steering wheel cover I wouldn't necessarily buy...
Do you have a link for those ones? As for the throw, I don't think I need much of a throw as long as it turns on when the tailgates opens and turns off when the tailgate is closed. It just seems better to me than a rocker switch. *shrug* I'll make a final decision after I open them up on...
