Man, sorry to hear about your unresolved issues. I have the 5000 and have not bottomed out at all with stock Laramie NON-ORP rear end. At least not that I have ever felt or noticed. And I never even installed my 1 inch spacer after my level like I was going to.
I wonder if there is more...
2014 Jeep GC just rolled 110k miles. At 70k had both heads replaced due to the sticky valve issues from a few years ago and the cracked oil filter mount/cooler replaced. After that it has been trouble free since. I want and hope for another 100k
Slightly firmer than stock. Better damping and control than OEM strut. OEM feels soft compared to these. Even the wife thinks it's an improvement. This is my first truck and only level kit so I have nothing to compare, but I am happy over the OEM for sure. I think I got slightly more than 2...
like you said, best value is not the cheapest. if you are not going more than 2 inches, then do a strut lift not a top strut spacer(puck). If you want to match that in the rear then a spacer and matching longer shocks. I did 2 inch Rough Country Loaded N3 struts and have a 1 inch rear space I...
Yes, but I stayed away from the uca because I didn't have replacement. ended up using a 3 jaw puller with only 2 jaws attached so they would be at an offset. There was very little room under the stud but we finally got it. It was a huge pain in the ***. If I touch this again I will be...
Great feedback. One comment I would make is that probably 80-90% of your ride quality change is the tires, not the struts. I went back and forth between LT and non-LT tires before my Rough Country leveling struts. I can tell you that the LT tires will account for the bulk of the change. My...
Same here. Stock non-orp setup is soft up front and poorly damped. Struts are definitely the better way to go as it firms up the spring as well as a better controlling shock.
Dealers can and do resell lemon law buy backs. However law requires it to be titled as a lemon law buy back, so they should be easily identified on Carfax.
You may have already gone another way, but I have 2 weeks on the 2" rough Country lift struts. They took all 2.5" of rake out and I am perfectly level. I have 1" rear spacers sitting in the garage incase I want some rake back. But I also have airlift 5000 bags so I gave myself .5 back with a...
I agree that the OEM tires are not very good. That said, I also think the normal shocks ( not the rebel shocks or even the ORP hd shocks) are under damped. Mine tend to get bouncy pretty easily on bad roads. I will be installing lift struts shortly. Hopefully that helps.
Has anyone seen reviews or used the Belltech leveling struts? They seem really new.

2021 Laramie with rambox and mft here. No issues with the doors. Actually, knock on wood, no issues at all, but I bought used so maybe the PO took care of them all :)
Frisco cdjr service treated me pretty great while my CPO jeep GC was going through the whole "sticky lifter" issue that was going around on the early pentastar v6. They got it sorted great and it is purring. But the upsell pressure and pricing once out of warranty sent me right back to my indy...
