I understand, but shouldn't there be a button for it underneath the shifter dial? It wasn't there on the two trucks I saw. Also, the sticker doesn't even list the Off Road Group.
For example:
My in-laws ride in the back of my quad cab all the time. Even with the driver seat all the way back, they still have plenty of room.
Maybe the newer quad cabs are smaller than my '05.
The two I saw at my local dealership didn't have the locking axle. It wasn't listed on the sticker, and there was no button for it anywhere on the dashboard.
I've have a quad cab, and have no problem with passengers.
A new crew cab is $3,000 more than the quad cab, so I can't see paying that much extra just for a foot or so of additional legroom.
The one I saw didn't have it. Strange...
I signed up for updates last November, and I still haven't received any updates. I also never received a mailed brochure I asked about two months ago.
I saw one in Gator Green at my local dealer today. The truck looks better in person than internet pictures. According to the window sticker, though, the electronic locking axle isn't included, which was supposed to be a part of the "Built to Serve" edition. I even looked below the shifter knob...
I've had the headliner out of my 2005 twice without removing any windows. The seats need to be reclined all the way back, and it's pulled through one of the front door openings. You have to be careful, but it can be done.
I signed up to be notified of updates via email and regular mail about a month ago, and I have yet to receive anything.
I do think it's funny, though, that they just announced a new 2109 1500 Classic Warlock Mojave Sand Edition, now that the 2020s are being manufactured.
I'm confused. The first part of the article states they "will be available in all powertrain combinations." Further down it says they "will come standard with Ram's 4 x 4 Off-Road Group."
Will they be all 4x4s, or will the 4x2s have the Off-Road Group as well?
I don't know what the specs are for the new trucks, but for my 2005, it's 55 degrees with an ambient temperature of 90 degrees and over (45 degrees below an ambient of 90).
