I had the same problem. Nearly got myself into multiple accidents with that stupid magnified mirror. I kept trying to adjust it to get it to an acceptable position for around 3 weeks, then punted and got the Infotainment mirror package.
That is the first time in 25 years of car buying that...
And don't forget to check the valve lash, too. I think it's every 200 hours or so on a small generator like that. I was out of power 3.5 days on my little 6800 watt Champion when Isais rolled though our neighborhood. Reminded me it was time to do the valve adjustment.
Oh, and congrats on the...
Honestly, frustrating as it is, having a problem pop up immediately usually means it's just a bad part from the factory and easily diagnosed and repaired. Glad it was something simple for you.

I've got an '18 Expedition as well as my Ram, and the interior of that is a pretty nice place to be. Not on par with the Ram, but not bad at all. I'd have to sit in a new F150 to see what changes had been made, but I don't think they're going to be too far off, depending on one's tastes...
New owner here with only 1600 on the odometer, but I am seeing 16.5 on my normal driving, which is a mix of suburban and small urban driving.
2020 Limited short bed crew, 5.7 etorque, 3.92 rear. I bought it for work a d towing my boat, and it does that very well. I am hoping once broken in...
