haha all these "wait and sees" are scaring me to the point I may be willing to push my search radius out further. A flight out and 12 hr drive back isn't sounding so bad anymore so I don't have to wait for weeks and hope rebates or incentives will play in my favor.

Like the other guy said... there may be a little bit more wiggle room perhaps? but also like YOU said - you'll qualify for any rebates for the month the truck actually arrives. I was asked to give a $500 non-refundable deposit if I were to go the order route. What did they ask you to put in?

I have a feeling if a 4x4 off road package truck shows up in any of the 3 dealerships in our suburb, they will sell within the week. We're right in the middle of "muddin'/camping/hunting" territory - how would these not be a given here??? maybe they ARE selling so fast that they're not even...

I haven't noticed any incentives yet but since I can't place an order for a RAM until January - I expect to see something buy then. So far, they are only doing about $5k ish off the Trail Boss LTs (which is also what I'm after) but these are for GM loyalty (you have to own another GM vehicle...

double yikes!! Looks more and more like I'll have a trail boss in my driveway come mid January :( really wanted the RAM interior - oh well, that's how it goes.

Incentives came down about $800 bucks across all trims in my area. Dealerships are being non-responsive on any inquiries. I keep hearing they're not taking anymore orders until January. It seems like they're just getting content with their upward blip in sales and think they don't need to beg...

YIKES! that sucks - I guess I'm not purchasing a RAM (if I don't go Chevy) until January since it's impossible to find one with the 4x4 pkg on the lot. This'll be nice to not have to worry about during the rest of December. Gives me time to get more of my ducks in a row.

Also - if you guys could mention how much you were asked to put as a down payment (if at all) that'd be helpful! If you guys have anyone you'd recommend dealing with on the east coast, I'm all ears. Looking to order this month ASAP.
