I swear these things get clogged up 5 minutes after they are installed. I bought my truck in September, changed the filter at the end of February. It was a mess!
The ecodiesel don’t make sense to my for my personal use. My daily commute is 6 miles each way. I wouldn’t even get the diesel up to operating temperature on my commute. The only time my truck gets used as a truck is towing a 6000lb camper for 10 trips a year. I bought my truck at the beginning...
I live on the east coast of Canada, my commute is 6 miles each way. Short trips with big temperature swings and city driving is about the worst thing for engines. At the very least, I'm changing my oil once a year, per the book. When I did the math, the cost for me to pay for 6 oil changes over...
My mileage is about the same and my oil has been changed twice already LOL. I bought the maintenance plan when I got my truck, which gave me 12 oil changes that I have to use in 6 years. But the oil changes worked out to be about half price with the plan. I'm getting the oil changed every 6...
Just knocking the obvious off the list, but there is a switch to turn them on inside the rambox. A little yellow button if I recall correctly. i only mention it because that switch isn't exactly out in plain sight.
You can use the Carfax app to keep track of your oil changes, but only an official Carfax shop will show up on the carfax report. All the DIY stuff won't show up when the carfax report is pulled.
Mine came with the bed divider. I can’t remember which package group that is included in. The bed utility group maybe?
No Velcro on the OEM tonneau cover that I recall. I live on the east coast of Canada, I know all about snow :)
I keep things like washer fluid, snow brush, tie down straps. There is a 110v plug in there, so you can charge things like the batteries fir power tools on the road. You can fit a few bags of groceries in them. They are actually pretty big. Some people even fill them with ice and beer.
Ordered a Mishimoto catch can and MGP caliper covers today. I guess I know what I’m doing this weekend after I take it to the dealership to get my leaking fuel injector fixed.
Thanks. The OEM cover is good for a soft tri fold. I’ll probably put a hard one on eventually. It is a prefect fit, good quality, and you can take it off and put it back on in seconds, which I really like. I wasn’t sure how is feel about the Ram boxes at first. They are a game changer, I don’t...
I change mine every six months. Maybe a little overkill given that I only drive about 7000 miles a year. I don’t drive it hard, but I live in Canada, on a dirt road, with a 6 mile commute each way.
