Agreed, it's very good. I had a new style ford ranger before my ram that had the 10 speed in it, and I hated it. Seemed like it was constantly gear hunting and it would cruise through town about 3 gears higher than it should (probably fuel mileage thing). I thought about tuning it to smooth...
I've been driving my winter beater more not only due to hockey practice mileage, but the deer have been absolutely nutty around here lately. They're everywhere. Hopefully you can get fixed up soon!
I cleaned my wallet down to a ridge wallet ( the small ones everyone sees on facebook) and it goes in my front pocket. If I'm driving long distance, everything comes out of my pocket and goes in the console, but moving away from a rear pocket wallet is something I should have done forever ago.
I had them on my previous truck. Great tire, but they did throw stones pretty bad if that's important. I know a lot of tires with that tread pattern will, but these seemed to do it a lot in my opinion.
I will confirm if you're at the "50 miles to empty" or whatever warning on the dash, remote start does not work. It will start, but not continue to run. That's usually how I remember I have to get gas that day
Correct. The only real difference is the addition of the cummins (in my opionion). I'd love to have a cummins rebel, but yew! That price. My local dealer has a white one for a cool 92k.
Solid point, HSKR. I over simplified. I can't speak for other makes or platforms, but in the mustang world at that point, anything over e30 required additional fueling. Typical tuning ratios then were 93 pump, e30, e50, or full e85. From the first tank after I bought it, I ran 93. After...
Correct. I probably mentioned elsewhere here, but I had my mustang tuned on e30 and the power increase was outstanding. My mileage took a pretty good hit though. 6-7mpg if I remember correctly. Full e85 was out of the question without an upgraded fuel pump though. I didn't get the fuel pump...
I live a couple hours south of Buffalo and we get hammered with lake effect and often ice. We're pretty rural, and don't have freeways, but I've never seen anyone in the ditch because they were going to slow. It's the guys in a hurry that get in trouble. I agree completely. It hurts nobody...
I thought the same thing so I took my wife's lease to the dealership for an oil change last year, also since they were free and included in the lease agreement. The next time it needed changed I didn't have the time to take it, so I did it myself. I spun the drain plug out with my fingers. It...
I should have done it at first oil change ha. I know people have luck with the bag method, but I never have. A remote location and a fumoto valve would make it a breeze. My wife has a cherokee with the upside down filter cartridge on top of the engine and that just makes sense. I wish all...
Correct. When I had my mustang, I had it tuned for e30. Ran great on it but mileage was definitely down. It can make good power, just takes more fuel to do so. Personally, I don't worry about using 89 for my truck with as light of loads as I pull, but I understand those that do. There are...
