Jim haha. He's been a pipeliner, backhoe operator, or truck driver since the day he graduated high school. I could write a book with all the sayings I've heard over the years.
Every time I'd travel somewhere with my dad and he would see a huge garage, he would say "If I had that guy's garage, and he had a feather up his a**, we'd both be tickled". Now I've started saying it to my wife.
Same. My wife is afraid to drive in and out of it because she doesn't wanna hit anything, and since my garage was built in the 60's, my McDonalds's supersized truck doesn't fit. So now, I have a large tv, a woodstove, and a place to get away from everyone to weld and fabricate, and drink beer...
It's awful. I try to drive my beater in the winter as much as possible and leave my truck in the driveway, but we had to do some long distance traveling last two weekends in the remnants of the Buffalo snow storm.
My lease is up in May and I'm considering making the swap as well. I've seen a few 23 eco leftovers where the prices are dropping considerably. I mainly just use my truck for pulling the camper or long trips, so it makes sense to me. Keep us posted on how you like it!
Yep. I got this runaround when I bought my rv trailer. Guy told me I had to make at least 6 or 9 payments, I can't remember. That was on the original rate he gave me. Wasn't a bad rate, but wasn't spectacular either. He called me the day before signing, "good news I was able to get your...
That's a great price. And you're dead on about new quality. A buddy of my dad's just traded in his Prevost for a brand new American, and it's been in the shop more than it's been on the road. It's a beautiful machine, but I can't imagine the headache.
Agreed. I briefly tried to talk the wife into a toy hauler. She told me I would basically just sit in the camper garage part and drink beer all day and I can do that at home in our actual garage
Yeah those are nice. We have a 24 footer with bunks and it suits us perfectly. There's times when I would love to have something bigger for more room, but I have to remind myself that we basically just use it to sleep in. When were camping, 95% of the time we're outside.
Nothing against the rtt guys, but I'm not giving up my a/c and memory foam  . I just wish I had a king size instead of a queen. I've gone from sleeping under the stars to having my creature comforts, and I'm not going back ha. If I was you, I'm taking the camper and the kids are going...
Good to know! We're all relatively short ha, but with 3 of us playing hockey we need a lot of cargo room. But again, just beginning window shopping. We'll put it on the list to look into. Thanks fella.
Good to know. We haven't had any issues with the Cherokee other than just needing one software update. It's just too small for us, the kids, and hockey equipment or camping. We wouldn't mind staying with the brand, but open to others as well. She likes the new mazda cx90. We had a cx5 once...
2 row or 3? How do you like it? Both our leases are up this spring. I'll likely keep my truck a while since I like it, and it doesn't make sense to trade in for a similar truck for more money ha. She has a regular cherokee now though that we are outgrowing. We've been window shopping...
