The blind spot monitoring system works great in my Ram especially if you put your turn signals on to indicate you are changing lanes as you should as it will give some loud beeps if someone is beside you. It will indicate anytime someone is in your blind spot and I have depended on it many...
I have previous posts on this thread about changing the Nexen tires with Michelin Defenders LTX MS tires. I had my dealer do another balance job on all 4 tires yesterday and I only drove it home which is about 23 miles, but it seemed to just about eliminate the slight vibration. Time will...
I live in Upstate SC and as far as I know, I still cannot get my power pedal recall done here as they say they have no parts for it. I am just wondering where some of you are located where your getting your recall completed. I am getting a little bit upset when it says on the recall...
I have that on my Jeep Cherokee TH and you don't want to see it work. Mine has warned me a couple of times in the Jeep and it yells BRAKE, BRAKE on my Jeep. I don't have it on my Ram as my pocket book wasn't deep enough to get the Advanced Safety Group--kind of wished I had dug deeper and and...
I had my head tech attempt to move the striker plate in and it doesn't move. He took a hammer and hit it fairly hard and no movement and the body shop manager then confirmed what he had told me that it doesn't move. I am hearing the wind noise at my left ear as I drive so I had them replace...
I had my service techs check to see if I had these rubber seals as I could see I had the side ones and they did and it does have the bottom one too. (too old get under my truck these days) My build date is on my signature and all other information about my Ram.
I saw on TV a couple of weeks ago about the new multifunction tailgate for the 2019 Ram that I don't think is available yet and they said you could switch your current 2019 Ram tailgate if you also replaced the bed for about 4 to 5 thousand dollars. (can't remember the exact price--but...
I had already done that several times so I guess it was a little dangerous since I had not read the 688 page manual completely or looked at completely on the Internet. (most of those times I was sitting still-but probably 3 times I was moving and accidentally hit the button))
Safety...
I am also glad you or your wife were not hurt. I have a question--what is your Ram build date and the question for that is that the IIHS report of safety was for Rams built after July 2018. I have the Quad cab and that was not included in the test.
"cab mounts to the vehicle frame at the (C)...
If yesterday was Feb. 6 when you talked to your service department they are correct-----------
I didn't know I had it until after I purchased my Ram and asked the salesman what that button was for that controls the
brake pedal height position. Now I have a Ram really unsafe to drive according...
Don't always trust "what they say" but check it out yourself. Here is the Mopar recall website----just enter your 17 VIN (no punctuation markls) and see if your Ram has any Recalls.
edit--Whoops--forgot to give you the website..............https://www.mopar.com/en-ca/my-vehicle/recalls/search.html
I do have a good service department but I agree with you about a tow truck driver doing this.. This was the assist. manager who took time to show me (well-took pics for me) on the top back of rotor on the rear where this was located and acted like it was not a big deal. ( He probably didn't...
I was at my dealer this morning hoping to get the power brake pedal recall (VO7) and no luck-no parts--but I asked him if I lost all power completely, could I get the auto brakes to release. He said they had to do that a couple of times. I am old so he took a picture of the back brakes on the...
I still can't get my recall done for the power brake pedal since my dealer doesn't have any parts unless they have a limited amount and are putting them on new Rams so they can sell the ones on the lot---Nay, they would not do that to a customer who has purchased at least 15 vehicles from...
No, you don't need a letter if you know about the recall, they will repair it. I think if you have your vehicle in for anything and they see a recall not completed they go ahead and do if if you have the time.
I just called my dealer to see if they had the parts in for this recall. I was told it would be two weeks or maybe a month till they received the parts, which doesn't make sense as Jasonml24 's was already repaired. They can't sell any 2019s that that have the adjusting pedals till this...
