    2022 RAM 1500 5.7 hemi Transmission 8HP75 Oil pan/Filter integrated

I used this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C8B6VKGW?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title Worked fine. Couldn't tall any difference between it and the OEM that I took off.

    Tier 1 Nerf Bars?

I have a set of Westin's that are rusting out already on my 2020. Who makes a quality set that will last? Black not chrome.

    Anyone removed this screen/filter??

Removed mine right after I got it. Then upgraded to the Chrysler RAM airflow CAI which didn't even have one.

    Changing Transmission fluid

True, but if clutch debris is all that's keeping your trans going you are on borrowed time. Don't flush, just drain an fill. Just DIYed mine a just over 50k miles.

    Low oil pressure?

I'm more familiar with LS engines than the HEMI. But for the LS the rule of thumb is 10psi of oil pressure per 1,000 RPM. In that context 22psi is plenty at idle.

Lift motor to do exhaust manifolds?

I put long tube header on mine without raising the motor up. PITA some of the header bolts are nearly impossible to get a wrench on... Manifolds should be way easier.

    8HP75 Transmission Service

Placement of the aftermarket Kooks Y pipe prevented me from removing the drain plug. So I replaced the whole pan with a Dorman. Was getting dark and the fluid was too hot to do the final fluid level check, so I will do that tonight when I get home from work. I could not tell a difference...

    8HP75 Transmission Service

I'm at 50k and plan to do the fluid service. Got quoted $495 for OEM pan/filter from dealer parts. Since Ram don't recommend a service interval, I'm going to just drain and fill only. Keep the original pan/filter. Yes there are cheaper knock off pans/filters but I've read there are issues...

    Brown Sludge on Coolant Dipstick?

If you mixed red and green coolant together then yes that is your cause.

    5w20 vs 5w30

Oil cap says 5w20, so I run 0w20...

    Exhaust leak?

Common problem with the exhaust manifolds cracking OP. If you replace with OEM, they will crack again. I replaced with headers.

    Tuning 2023 models

Factory computers must be unlocked before any tuning can be done. Once that's done there is no going back they know even if you don't do any flashes. I tuned my 2020 Ram with HP Tuners myself.

Motor oil and the Hemi tic.

"Hemi Tick" is like saying someone has COPD. It's a general term for a host of disorders... 87% chance it's cracked exhaust manifolds i.e. exhaust leak.

    Ram tick

I did. It was cracked exhaust manifolds.

    Exhaust Manifold Cracked

Unless you want it to happen again go with headers or this: Hemi exhaust manifolds

    O2 sensor part #'s?

Gah, there are umpteen different part numbers for O2 sensors on my 2020 Ram. Even seems to be a different # for left vs right up stream. Does anyone know if there is any real difference? They all look exactly the same and have the same connectors.

    Custom Tune

Yes, your high flow cats are causing that code. You will need a custom tune to stop it. Unfortunately for some inexplicable reason our ECU's also use the down stream O2's for fuel trims. This means the adding an O2 spacer trick might not work properly.

    Afe Headers.

Yes, I just sent a set of those back to Summit. They were awful. After removing them I found the drivers side flange warped. Probably why I couldn't stop the exhaust leak...
