Nice write up and video. A suggestion to anyone doing their own exhaust removal and install. Snag a pair of the Lisle 38350 exhaust hanger removal pliers. $16 at most places that carry them, including Amazon. You’ll thank me later. A small squirt of PB Blaster on the hanger, a quick squeeze...
I run 89 octane. Just finished a trip to Oklahoma and back, about 1k total miles. Cruise set on 84 the whole time, averaged 18.9 mpg. Getting about 14.5 around town with no highway driving.
Mine seems to work fine. Cools the truck quickly. Just got back from a week long trip and it had no issues with the high 90’s temps. I haven’t check the temp yet though, will do that next time I am up at the shop.
I use mostly Buff and Shine pads these days, but also use a few Meg’s foam pads. I run Flex buffers, and the majority of the products I use are Menzerna, or Sonax.
Does the truck honk at you when you walk away with the key in your pocket and the truck still running? Both of my Ford’s do, but I haven’t checked the Ram yet.
