Interesting development today. I took the bait and renewed Guardian for six months for $60. Then tonight, merely a few hours after I threw my money down, I got the update notification....

How can I force it to do an update, or where can I download the update and install it via USB? I upgraded to the 12C in my truck but I should still receive updates through the receiver module, correct?

Where can you find the update to install via USB? I upgraded my 4C Nav to the 12C Nav and the dealer cannot update since the embedded module VIN is different than my VIN. My Nav is outdated it seems and does not show all the roads and streets that I know are there. My update is 17 something if...

It's compatible with the exception of Guardian. The US version that's no longer being made is $1,180, and you cannot get them.

The spare module showed up today. It's UCX but will work just fine on the US vehicles. The only thing you're losing from what I'm told is Guardian. It's available and shipping will be $15 CONUS

I have an 8.4 with Nav that I took out of my 1500 that I will part ith I have a 4C Nav that I pulled from my 1500 when I upgraded to 12C that would work for you.

I have a module arriving tomorrow for anyone who needs one. It is UCX but will work fine with the 12C Nav as long as you do not want the Guardian feature.

You need LVDS cable since the one for the 8.4" is so short. The control module is going to be the hardest part to find

UCX is the Canadian module. It won't be compatible with Guardianbut that's the only difference as I've been told. I'm sure someone will correct if I've been wrongly informed

You're going to be very hard pressed to ever find a module. They are unicorns. I have another one coming from Canada that was an unexpected surprise.
