Mine ordered 3/10 was built May 18 shipped May 21. It’s been sitting in a rail yard one province away for a week and it’s killing me. ETA was 6/2 to 6/16.
Way too much for that truck. Would suggest dropping pano roof, ram box and split tailgate. That might get you into the 1300lb range and allow two passengers in addition to the trailer tongue weight, but nothing else. Lighter trailer AND less optioned truck is in order to stay legal.
Not acceptable. Can still see the distortion/dent in the sheet metal. They did do a decent job painting, but by the looks of the “fix” (or hack) a true fix would probably require a new tailgate skin. Let the negotiations ensue.
Pano and ram box take off almost 100lbs each. The list of options s on your list for a Laramie or limited would put payload below 1300lbs, and as low as 970 on a full load limited.
Best thing for you to do would be find a truck that is close and run the vin to show what the real world numbers are.
Looks like it was opened onto a trailer jack and people getting in and out of the truck or trailer caused some wiggle over time. That’ll probably be a whole tailgate repainting due to the depth and breadth of that scratch and dent.

The compacted graphite iron block for the Rcodoesel is heavier per cylinder than the aluminum Hemi block. Add the selective catalytic reduction equipment, the def tank and the the other emissions stuff and the ED is almost 200 lbs heavier than the Hemi.
My window sticker was May 21 and didn’t get an ETA until it was on the train for a week and it was a 2 week window of June 2 to 16. Truck has been 1 province away now for three days stuck in Saskatchewan at a switch yard. About a days pull away.
