Sounds about right for oil. They typically aren’t using oil, it’s just getting absorbed by all of the micro-porosity in the metal channels as it flows until they are saturated. Should be good by about 1000miles.

My stock height 2021 was 79.5” to the fin. With 300lbs spread in the bed with tools and consumables it’s at 78-79” depending on the day.
