Your truck may have not updated yet since it was just built. I used it to check trucks with backcountry trims on the dealer lots to determine approximate payload before ordering my truck. I needed roughly 1400 for passengers, cargo, and camper. It appears based on my packages I’ll squeak by...
The granite works, the white and hydro blue just stand out too much in the grill that’s just my opinion. To be fair I haven’t seen a backcountry in person yet, I’m just going by pictures. Maybe the gloss black bumper compliments the white and hydro blue better in person on the back country. I’ve...
Happy Birthday! I was just giving you a hard time. I’m also coming from a Ford. Trading in an 2017 expedition with the 3.5 eco boost. Looking forward to switching over to V8. I know the 3.5 eco boosts are beasts however, they are costly to repair. I wish I could have choose the Hemi without...
Nice! They seem really functional for smaller items you don’t want flying around in the bed. Ratchet straps, tools and such. Plus I assume it’s easier to grab that smaller stuff rather than leaning over the bed in a tool box.
That’s awesome you got ram boxes with the backcountry package! They don’t offer them this year on bighorns. I’m curious, do the ram boxes open with the tonneau cover down or do you have to fold it or roll it up to open the ram boxes?
I just checked to see if I could add the night edition with off-road group on a Laramie and it let me add it. I used my iPhone with safari. I notice build sheet can be finicky with type of browser.
I had a 2017 Ford expedition 3.5 eco boost and it would get up and go but there was a delay when I hit the gas. I got used to it as I know that is just how the engine responds. It towed our camper really well, however I don’t feel like I benefited from the mpg savings. I was averaging 15 mpg...
Lol, it wouldn’t be the end of the world as I see the Laramie trims have a nice discount this month. Although, the backcountry package on the bighorn trim is all I need in a truck.
I ordered a Big Horn BackCountry 4/13 but nothing is scheduled yet. Just says confirmed with VIN (D) status in the ram pizza tracker. I’m not stressed about it, but would be nice see it get scheduled. Hopefully soon! That’s awesome yours moved so fast!

I saw this thread earlier. May help answer some of your questions.
I agree, I like the built to serve front end the best. Especially with hydro blue. It’s not as bad looking with the patriot blue but still makes me want to change it to all black when I get my truck.
Was there a known issue with the paint or application on the the two tones? I might spring for a pff bumper application as the painted black bumper has me thinking it’s going to show chips like crazy. Then I start thinking I could just put a heavy duty bumper to replace when it gets real bad.
I totally understand your decision. The limited is a very nice trim level. I was just pointing out that the part time 4wd transfer case could be a reason someone might load up a rebel with options instead of going to a limited for a similar price tag.
Does the limited have the same transfer case as the rebel? I know the bighorn has a different transfer case and from what I read isn’t as robust as the rebel transfer case for off-roading. That could be a determining factor to stick with a loaded rebel instead of a limited. I haven’t checked...
Based on his previous posts, I think what he was referring too, was the ram tracker hasn’t worked for him since he cancelled his first order. His second order isn’t updated in the ram tracker and his information is blank even though he has a new VIN for his second order.
