I love this feature. I take the carpet out during the winter months in Ohio, put them back come spring.

Because it helps keep my out of heavy acceleration. Makes a HUGE difference for me and my lead foot. :)

Agreed. My wife's BMW tracks like a train, my truck ping-pongs like a drunk. As a matter of fact I fear getting pulled over stone cold sober by a cop for driving like I am wasted. LOL

Hwy @ 70 I can get just at/over 20MPG. At 65 it goes up just a bit more. Heading up to 75 I average closer to18, and over 75 it drops like a rock.

Whelp I was going to do this but now learned (thank you!) that it disables Start/Stop. Call me weird but I like the feature and do not want to lose it.

Does one need the ORG package? Why not have this for any 4x4 truck?

Might be simpler to just get some rubber and put it on the floor to protect the carpet while keeping the factory unit.

Given your use cases, do you really need 33" AT tires? Firebreak/logging/back roads are designed such to allow general vehicles to transverse (usually) without off road capability. Think firetrucks for example. :) Size/look are certainly discretionary, however too many people put ATs on for...

I am at just a tad over 50K on my Goodyears. They are close to gone, so getting new shoes soon but they did last a long time.

When we were looking for a house two years ago, a garage that could fit my truck was an absolute must. Hard to find in urban Cinci but got lucky and found and NO WAY would I ever go back to no garage for my vehicles, like never. :)
