That is a HUGE difference, depending on how one wants to use their truck bed and ease of that use. Not saying the Gator is not a good cover, but in the end it is not a direct comparison to the Bakflip. I do not own one yet but for my needs it is probably what I will get because I want to be able...
Sincerely, I do not know simply because I am not an auto interior designer/AC expert. Could it be a flaw? YES! Is it a flaw? Do not know...that is all I am saying. Without a standard to go by, our anecdotal "gut feel" that is should be the same is no more right than someone else say it is fine...
Same. The challenge with calling this a "design flaw" is what is the "flaw"? Some, like myself, find it works great. Is it warm at startup on a hot day? Sure! Does it take a minute to get the whole cab cool, yup it is a large volume of air with mediocre (at best) insulation. However if I have...
Does the Rugged Liner prop up like the MX4? I do not want to lose a third of the bed usage when I need to haul something and taking it off every time I do would be a pain.
I love the air suspension. Great for getting in/out of parking garages but I still have the ability to raise it up when I head down some trails to camp. Plus the ride is amazing...who would not want them?
Given the price of the truck overall, and the fact that the option is less then a grand and gets me a host of additional storage options, including usage as a cooler ;), plus the outside plug....well worth it in my opinion, yours may vary. :)
Thanks for starting this thread. Washed my new truck yesterday, was listening the radio and the drivers side door open and I had to basically stop listening and shut the door. This is crazy, that is something that absolutely should either be selectable to turn off or should turn off after some time.
Same here, with mid-17s in the city with eTorque.
Funny thing though, my mileage seems to appear worse after the airbag recall update. People say the computer was not as accurate as hand calculating, wonder if they calibrated it better?
Well I am in a situation where I am living in an apartment and do not have access to many of my tools. Just had the dealer install them when I took it in for the airbag recall.
Granted, I inadvertently paid almost as much for the installation as the parts, but hey it is now done! o_O:LOL:
Steve, how did you remove the cover caps on the sides of the bed where the new parts go? I tried to “pop” them out this evening they are in there good! I could not pry them out with a knife and I am afraid to break them.
Thanks.
I do not have any sort of scientific measuring tool but my skin-o-meter tells me mine is just fine, cools off the truck quickly even in 98 degree heat. Of course I do not expect it to be an arctic chiller 10 seconds after starting the truck, that is not how AC (or heat) works, but it keeps my...
