Yes Zeigler. I picked the $200 deductible. Changing it to $100 or $0 added too much to the amount where I would need 2-3 warranty repairs before I broke even.
Your more likely to have a tow truck steal your car than a guy breaking out your window to "hot wire" your car.
The thieves now are organized gangs who know how to bypass your key fobs and sensors. If they want your car bad enough there is really not much to stop them.
Let insurance cover it.
Shiny red ball. After a while the shine wears off and all you have is a red ball. You are gaining very little but paying more. I could see if you were going to a new body style or some major upgrades for towing etc. To do it just to do it with a truck that has treated you right seems silly...
Just hit 25k miles. Leaking rear window, factory paint defect on passenger door, poor AC, rear drivers side door out of alignment, air noise from B pillar area.
No other mechanical issues. Replaced factory tires at 16k. Brakes pads seem good.
Im looking to a battery powered LED light to the bed. I do not want anything hardwired. Is there a specific light that anyone has used? I was thinking of something I could stick to the side of the bedliner.
Never thought of this. I could just lean to the left. Problem solved!
Seriously though. Instead of trying to remove it, I could try to shine it up to match.
There was a 20/20 episode a few weeks ago that toured the only US chip plant. The guide said this a 10 billion dollar plant and they dont even have the technology to build the chips Apple requires. They can only be made overseas. They are working on building a new plant but it is years away...
1. I believe is a fuel system vent. My previous truck (Tundra) and my Ram both did the same thing. I never noticed it inside the cabin. I can hear it between the rear cab and rear wheels. Its a normal function if thats what it is.
Let me also add this truck has the worst wind buffering of any vehicle I ever rode in. You cannot have just one window partly down. It physically makes me sick with the interior turbulence. Both front windows need to be down or one window and the rear slider.
I am actually thinking of going to Ford. My '19 had the rear window replaced due to a leak, there is a paint defect in the passenger door, the air conditioning suck, misaligned doors and body panels and an air leak noise from the rear driver side.
The interior design of the RAM is the best of...
I had a '14 Tundra and the driver seat developed a 1/4 wiggle. I took it back to the dealership and they replaced the seat bracket no questions asked.
I would not mess with it if you are still under factory warranty. Let the dealership check it.
If im not mistaken the ASG requires a Laramie level 2 package which is about a 4 grand upcharge. I did not see anything in the level 2 package that would justify $4000, unless you needed it to get the ASG.
