Well, if they look anything like Silver64's rims he took off the black clad and took the rims with his truck to another level!!!
From this rim:
Silver64 truck:
I want them!!! Unfortunately through RAM they only come in 22's. I have since found out they look like the GMC Snowflake rims...
Got me wondering about mine also!!! I do note in the original thread that the OP has it in the middle setting and Neurobit has it in the 3rd setting; wondering if it changes the angle/appearance of that up/down in question????
I will check mine in few ours when daylight arrives.
Add the "shock sensor" to truck's security(maybe tilt sensor too). Below is the thread I got info from that makes it DIYable...just got to make sure RAM truck is all compatible to the diy thread.
We live in safe area/neighborhood but there has been a rash of break-in's of young kids targeting...
Thanks EXQQQME!!!
I am definitely willing to try this. As it would be a cheap option to reduce the droning sound (if it works for me as it has for you). I will come up with a contraption to try and identify and isolate the "area" of droning. Yet another fun mini project. Unfortunately I...
Long shot here but has anyone ever found Koni's that worked for our trucks? Back in my BMW days a set of Koni Yellows were a great improvement that rivaled Bilstein.
I found a youtube commercial that advertised Koni Orange:
"KONI STR.T Light Truck (LT) Series product line performance shock...
I definitely will try the third setting as I can say I now have the "seat of my pants" feeling on what the 2nd setting has provided me. Having family coming down here to Florida so it may be couple of weeks.
Great idea EXQQQME!!!
Any pics???
I don't get the droning sound at idle but at different speeds. I am curious the pros/cons to this idea and am interested in trying this myself if I can identify the droning areas.
LMAO!!! jloop ya made me just go do some work. I was 99% sure but had to go out and look under vehicle to be 100% sure that I am in the middle notch/setting.
I need to rotate my tires (overdue) so I will recheck my wheel spacers in the process will go to the third setting to compare the...
Again, I really appreciate the diagram as that gets me started. I have a friend that is a mechanic and he will help me soon decipher the wiring of the diagram as I am new to that stuff. Are there any "pictures" that show the path of the wiring specifically to the security system as it lays in...
absolutely LOVE my Hellwig sway bar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That alone felt great compared to stock. Add the fact of my wheel spacers with the Hellwig rear sway bar giving me a few more inches of base side to side---feels great going around curves or on/off ramps here in Florida.
Took some back...
Now that to me based on what I paid for my truck is a great deal!!!! I paid $38,400 (<--includes TTL) out the door. This truck advertised has about $3,200 more upgrades making it about $5k cheaper than when I purchased mine!!!
If they were 20" I would want them...I just don't want to get tires too since mine are only 7 months (about 8k miles on them).
I would suggest to send a message to silver64 to find out exactly how he got them out.
Here is pic of member silver64 vehicle---
here is my vehicle photochopped...
Ha! I think this would become one of the longest threads around if everyone replied!!!
Unfortunately, the tactics they throw at the customers work probably 95% - 98% of the time. I read a great article many years ago called "Confessions of a Car Salesman" by Philip Reed. He was a...
