Gear ratio and rear dif lock should not noticeably affect ride quality.
I can't speak of the air suspension but my coil sprung 18" stock wheel Bighorn rode incredibly well for a truck. Everybody who road in it was surprised by ride quality. I am more interested in handling so I changed to 20"...
I have been watching these threads for almost a year now. I suspect the defective units are quite widespread. The air conditioner in my 2019 is the worst I have had in any of my vehicles for at least 30 years. I have not commented until now because I have nothing to add, but consider yourself...
What safe floor jack points are there on our 5th gen rams? All of my other recent vehicles had single front and rear points to lift the whole end. Any points like that on the Ram1500?
After driving the Pentastar, I knew it would be capable of anything I had planned for it. With 3.55 gears it can tow 7500 lbs. or haul 1700 in the bed. I saw no reason to put up with the worse MPG that the Hemi would have. If I feel a need for speed I'll drive my C7 Corvette.
Unlike one...
You will need to take a few test drives to determine if a Ram 1500 is for you. For a full size 4wd pickup they handle and ride very well. I think you will find the Silverado to be crude in comparison in ride and interior design.
Unless you plan to tow fairly heavy loads the Pentastar will have...
Magnaflow has two new systems for the 5th gen Ram with V6. 19461 is a single pipe side exhaust. 19498 is a dual rear exit system. I was told they use a 5x11x22 muffler. If anyone has installed one yet a sound clip would be appreciated.
Keep in mind, the tighter to the body and to a degree the less noticeable the steps are the less useful they will be. You will need to find a balance between steps that are actually useful and safe and ones that are aesthetically acceptable to you.
In the end I ordered and installed the OEM...
I actually weighed mine after I bought it. I don't have the weigh slip with me but it was a little over 5100 pounds stock. I don't know what my spray-in bed liner weighs but with it, my hard tonneau, OEM bed step, OEM cargo rails, OEM side steps, and the other items I have installed or carry I'm...
Purchase well and take care of your vehicle and you won't need to worry about losing money when you get rid of it. I paid 69% of MSRP for my 2019 Bighorn V6 and will get a great return (relative to purchase price) when I sell it outright as I always do.
My Ram is a moderately loaded Bighorn V6...
2019 Bighorn Crew with 5'7" bed. I presently have the stock 18" wheels and tires. I am replacing them with OEM 20" with the Bridgestone Duelers. I would like to confirm that the factory recommended pressure for the 20's is 36 psi front and rear as stated above. Thanks !
Before I bought my RaceRamps I borrowed a set from a friend to use on my Corvette. I left it up overnight and noticed my tire tread left an impression after I backed it down. It was still there when I returned them (oops) and this was from a 3400 pound car.
Their present two part stands are...
The cable and bracket will fit without modification. I tried it today. It is more difficult than putting it through the larger spare hole but it works. Obviously the full size spare hangs lower and is visible from behind the truck.
